What Democrats are holding a North Korea style military parade? What a dumb comment. For the record, the Army celebration was planned, but it was Trump who turned this into a North Korea style parade with an inflated budget on the tax payer dime which includes having to repair DC streets on the parade route (and before you say DC streets could use it anyways, nope, the area of parade route streets are always well maintained).

The Navy and Marine Corp both have 250th birthday celebrations this year, but thus far, no bloated North Korea style parade. Why? Oh, we had to do it on Trump's birthday, that's why.

I don't care what side of the political spectrum you are on, but this style of parade isn't particularly America. Our celebrations of our military are typically more focused on the people who serve rather than some weird display of military equipment in the style of fascist countries.

Couple this with the Trump administration pre-screening military to attend his speech at Fort Bragg - I don't care if you are Democrat, Republican, whatever, the US is better than this. This goes against the ideals of our Democracy.

Because he intentionally goes to rural areas to create the message of being for the little guy, doesn't change overall statistics of who voted for him, nor his actual policies that benefit the rich over the working class American.

Dems don’t host military parades while cutting large amounts of funding for the VA or firing federal workers with a large percentage of whom are vets. I think there is a big difference in the definition of patriotism between Dems and GOP. GOP is all show - style with NO substance.
