Kyle McDaniel Sued & Accused of Embezzlement

I can’t believing he hasn’t stepped down as budget chair, at least. Really he should resign altogether. I have lost even more respect for the school board that they couldn’t at least get him to step down as budget chair if they oil don’t convince him to resign.

Do we know which other school board member went to the strip club on the school board trip to New Orleans? (Also, why are we paying for their trip to New Orleans when we FCPS keeps broadcasting their dire budget situation?).

Absolutely 0 cares if the man went to a strip club or any particulars about the club.

As for the embezzlement lawsuit, it certainly doesn't look good from the peanut gallery, but have also been around long enough to know that just because things appear a way or look bad, we likely don't really have the full story or all perspectives on it, and until that resolves through the courts, I don't see why he (or anyone else) would be expected to resign or recuse based on allegations alone.

If we were going to have our elected officials resign based on allegations alone we'd never have anyone serve as President for more than 5 seconds.

You’re quite the enabler. Maybe he can make his next strip club visit a field trip for the entire SB. Between acts they can approve the budget and change some school boundaries while they are waiting for cocktails.

The plaintiff in the Kyle McDaniel case has now filed an amended complaint saying that it has since learned that McDaniel stole $1.5 million through a long-running fraud. Just before his company was acquired, he allegedly moved ownership of its primary assets, two airplanes, outside the company, and basically sold an empty shell.

An amended lawsuit filing now says McDaniel stole $1.5 million in airplanes. Just before closing the deal to merge his company with the plaintiff's, he allegedly secretly moved ownership of its assets--two airplanes--to a different company, and essentially sold an empty corporate shell. It's hard to see how this could be an everyday "business dispute" as obviously when you buy an airplane company, everyone understands the airplanes to be included.

Totally get it, I too don’t care if he wants to spend our taxpayer money ogling naked women rather than using his time in New Orleans to do his job as a school board member. After all, I’m sure he paid for that private trip. It was private, right?

Plus, since he’s already looking to F over our kids with the boundary review, I’m okay with him F’ing some strippers over too. Amiright!?
