They couldn't do this in 2024, and can't do it now. What makes you think they can do it in 2026? If the tariff dominoes start falling into place, the markets are going to spike. |
Tariff dominos start falling in place . Since there is zero chance of that happening because Trump doesn’t have even a menial understanding of economic policy |
Are you kidding? The minority party always sweeps the midterms. The only question is by how much - and right now, it's looking really really really bad for the red guys. (As for tariff dominoes - yes, it's likely that the tariffs will be struct down as illegal before Congress gets around to legislating them away So they will fall. But that won't help the Republican party. Voters may be dim but they aren't that dim.) |
Last time they used tariffs, republicans were out of power for decades. |
Don’t the young gen z men have jobs? They will lose their jobs and have to pay more for groceries and rent too. Or I guess move back home. Doesn’t seem uplifting. |
A small price to pay for the freedom to be sexist, racist, and homophobic. /s |
Hahahaha, "tariff dominoes?!?" My brother in Christ, it has been shown that the "tariff dominoes" were created by asking chatGPT how to tariff the whole world and ignoring the part where the AI told them it was a stupid idea! This is not dominoes, this is not 3d chess, this is literally a stupid, weak man trying desperately to look smart and powerful and utterly failing. There is no plan, there will only be chaos. If you can't see this you're even stupider than he is. |
Many don’t have jobs or are underemployed. Many already have to live with their parents. That’s actually part of what drew them to Trump. DCUM is always very out of touch but come on, look at what is bringing Gen Z to Trump. The Gen Z men he won aren’t the coddled children of the wealthy. They are undereducated young men who have been left behind. This is a very fickle group and they will turn on a dime, but I do not think they are going to see their lives change much because of the tariffs. Their lives were already not great under Biden. |
Polls show they already left Trump months ago, in February. They are fickle, yes, but not dumb. They believed Trump figuratively instead of believing Trump literally. (Tbf, so did I, but I still voted against him instead of for him.) |
Dems need to nominate a straight, white male, clearly. The US is not ready for anything else, Obama excepted. |
The Democrats picked up House seats in 2024. And it sounds like you’re not read into political election history…at all. The Republicans have zero chance of holding the House in 2026. Whatever they want to get done (or rather break), they need to get onto that sooner than later. |
I think Rogan and the rest of the podcast bro crew are starting to get wishy washy on Trump. |
There were elections before 2024, you know. Also “tariff dominoes” lol |
PP here. I really hope you are right. |
