The House and senate could have already passed the bill Trump tanked last year on immigration. Why haven't they? |
I don’t care what you think. You sit it out, you don’t get a say. |
They are in the lifeboats.
They don’t give two sh@ts about the rest of us. |
Why solve a problem when you can use it to whip people into a frenzy and continue electing you? |
That's not how any of this works. If you want to win next time, you'd best start listening to the people who weren't convinced last time. |
There won't be a next time because people like you decided to abstain from voting rather then ensuring someone who publicly proclaimed being a dictator on day one, wasn't elected. |
+1. You acted like you were too good for the process. You get what you get and you don’t complain. |
Kamala Harris got more votes than any Democratic Presidential candidate in American history except Joe Biden. Abstainers weren't the problem Trump voters were the problem. There are a LOT of them, and it includes a lot of "natural" Democrats in flyover states, in the middle class, in the working class, etc. How did an NYC billionaire plutocrat manage to make Republicans the party of the middle class and working class? We helped him! We became the party of Google and Goldman and dcurbanmom. We became the party of LGBTQIA+ and Covid restrictions. We became the party of war. And now we're paying the price. |
The market dip is good because it allows more of us income-restricted individuals to buy in. Could I afford Tesla stock a few months ago at $475/share? Not really. I bought some the other day when it was $221.
I see this as a good thing. And Tesla is only going to go up now with Trump's endorsement. |
+1 If you didn’t even bother to vote, then STFU. |
Way to miss the point genius. I voted. But we lost. And we'll lose again if you continue to refuse to listen to the people whose votes we need to win. It's simple mathematics. We didn't get enough votes, so we need to get more votes next time. And screeching at those people because you didn't get your way is a losing strategy. |
How about you STFU and LISTEN to people telling you why you didn't get their support. You can't bully people into voting blue. |
How's your 401K doing? Or is it all crypto? Oh wait, crypto is down 30% since Trump took office. So much winning! |
No offense, but you're completely out to lunch. The electorate wants closed borders. The electorate wants mass deportations. And NO-ONE other than hyperpolitical hyperpartisan upper middle class striver Democrats believes the ridiculous talking points that "Ackshually, it's the Democrats who are tougher on immigration." Democrats keep confusing their MOST extreme partisan marketing messages with "the news." But the voters obviously aren't buying it. Biden spent his first month in office issuing Executive Orders to undo Trump's border control and open up the border (to fight racism? or express disapproval of Trump? or serve the bipartisan donor class that wants wages suppressed?) And then the Biden administration waved in millions of third-world immigrants, mostly military-aged males. They let them cross the border, they released them with court dates years in the future, Democratic-run city and state governments refused to share criminal data with ICE, Biden brought tens of thousands of Haitians into small towns in Ohio where they started crashing cars everywhere, and on and on and on. The illustrious "border bill" was horrible. It had a poison pill in it--amnesty for illegals already here. Republican voters didn't want that, so their Reps were right not to pass it. It also allowed for 3000 or so illegals to cross the border per day...that's a million a year. AND the Dems introduced it in the FOURTH year of the administration as a hypocritical and cynical attempt to trick the voters. It didn't work. The fact is that even most Democratic voters think Republicans are much tougher on illegal immigration than Democrats are. Ask the illegal immigrants in your life if they are more scared of deportation now or under Biden. Ask them if their friends from Central America are planning to cross the border and come here any time soon. If you want to argue with the voters and tell them they are mistaken, you better not be lying to them. They don't like that and they don't forget it. |
Actually, you did cast a vote by sitting at home being lazy and apathetic. You voted for Trump. And I don't care if you ever vote again or Dem. There is no point in listening to people who lack critical thinking skills and maturity. You and all your buddies get what you asked for. |
