Who gets mass deported?

Inside Trump’s Plan to Deport Millions

When asked by the hosts of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton radio show how the mass deportations project would be realized, Miller said it would require a “switch to indiscriminate or large-scale enforcement activities.” Miller described going to every place where there are known congregations of “illegals” and taking people to federal detention.

To detain immigrants before carrying out their deportations, Miller said the Trump administration would build massive holding facilities that could accommodate between 50,000 to 70,000 people at any given time. Such an undertaking, he said, “would be greater than any national infrastructure project we’ve done to date.”

What you just dump them where exactly? Or do we just keep them in concentration camps?

Why would we keep illegal immigrants in concentration camps? We would still be financially liable for them.

We want them returned to their home countries, not hanging out on American soil being cared for with taxpayer dollars.

China refuses to repatriate. Are there other countries like China that refuse to accept back their citizens who are illegally in this country.

The U.S. doesn’t care. They ship them to Mexico.

That is the best or send them to prison if they don't obey.

why don't we put award in the communities to located illegals?

LMAO I’ll believe it when I see it. There is no possible way this administration is building facilities to hold 50,000+ people at a time any time in the next 4 years. They’re a bunch of clowns.

Trump knew what he was doing, he couldn’t come out and say all were all the chopping block, hence okaying the Puerto Rican jokes.

He can’t actually deport them, but everyone else is fair game if you are here legally or you have a green card. Be on your p’s and q’s, don’t run any red lights, and keep your papers on you at all times.

I did some pro-bono work at the Fed Prison down in S. Virginia, the place was full of all color and stripes of detained immigrants, green card holders and just plain old illegal, all had committed some petty offense, bouncing checks, reckless driving, nothing violent, my firm was committed to helping the good guys caught up in a bad system. All were cooling their heels in orange jump suits in lockup, they didn’t get a special wing, they were in with the regular old convicts and the individuals we were working with had been there for years. And they all were brown or kind of brown.

Best of luck. Maybe you have your citizenship, but do all your family members? Green cards don’t keep you safe. Tell them all to be careful.

Federal prisons are big business. If you build them they will fill them for you. Money says some of Trumps cronies already have the proposals ready to go.

There are plenty of shuttered prisons, they might need a little TLC but my money says they’ve been working on that part for awhile.

I wish the dems has come out harder with the counter narratives.

Before he had the power of the Federal Govt behind him is when people should have thought long and hard about what he and his friends could do with it.

All the talk of Fascists was a bit too high level, what they should have hit them with is something they could wrap their heads around. The powers given to the govt to crack down on suspected terrorists being turned on their friends and family members.

I don’t think most people have a healthy enough appreciation for the reach and power of the Federal govt. You don’t need to fear the state you need the fear the creative ways an army of his lawyer will seek to bend the laws to fulfill their mandates.

I disagree. Let’s keep the line for people who DIDN’T break our laws. If you broke the law, you’re done.

Ok Trump first!

+1. And deport Melania and Elon who both violated he terms of their visas.

I hope it becomes possible somehow for us to stop birthright citizenship. That will remove a lot of the incentive. I believe the constitution is not as clear about this as some people think, since it assumes those people were legal immigrants who come here. In any case, I hope we could get the votes now to change that (even if it’s a specific voting question during the next election).

Birthright citizenship is in the constitution

thats actually debatable- many originalists, like the Justices on the Supreme Court, believe that the 14th amendmnet was wrongly interpreted b/c it was in the best interest of the robber Barons to have a large immigrant workforce, we needed more immigrants to accomplish our Manifest Destiny. There is an argument to be made that the authors of the 14th amendment only meant birthright for the desendants of slaves and free white men. the 14th amendment granted birtright citzenship right away to the masses of immigrants that were coming in at that time but it was never granted to Mexican and Hispanic americans who lived in the border states and many who had american passports were deported to Mexico.

Britain got rid of birthright citzenship - they had granted citizenship to many people from the commenwealth countries rigt after independence so were working from the same fears. They didnt apply it retroactively even though even more than americans you can prove your ethnic heritage is English, Welsh, Scottish. They can also repeal the Immigration act of 1965 and retroactively repeal anyone's citizenship who came then i guess. that is my nightmare scenario b/c then i'll only have a useless pakistano passport. maybne time to buy property in greece and get a EU citizenship. Maybe they'll allow a golden visa type situation for the Sundar Pichais and Satya Nadellas but Bannon wants them gone.

We aren’t Britain and our country was founded on immigration.

Do you not get that Trump won this election because he was playing on peoples fears, innate tribalism and plain old racism and their fear and hatred of immigrants who they found it easy to other. Heck even many hispanic people found it easy to other each other. Please tell me you understood that and decided to vote for him anyway. Immigration for many who voted for Trump is the issue, legal vs illegal is semantics for them.

The clowns are the folks who allowed them to come into our country over the last 4 years.

You're wrong. Absolutely wrong. It's not just semantics. There are many Hispanic people and families here who work hard, obey laws, and are productive members of society. They came here legally. Quit lumping them with those who are here illegally and got lost in the system.

I’m sure the working class coalition of legal citizens that elected Donald Trump is terrified of the “rising labor costs” that would result from deporting illegals.

Uh, that’s specifically what they want.

Dumb rhetoric... like promising $25,000 to first-time home buyers? Or $20,000 to black entrepreneurs? Having Medicare pay for in-home care? Riiiiiiight. Exactly how was she going to pay for all of that? She wasn't. It was just dumb rhetoric to get fools to vote for her. And it didn't work.

It’s not me doing the lumping that you need to worry about. I’m not the crazy guy with the full power and weight of the federal government behind him.

Look I get it people either weren’t capable of thinking this through or just stuck their heads in the sand and pulled the trigger, but this is the America you got. It may not be the one you thought you were voting for… but that’s water under the bridge now.
