No they won’t. Pride 29 didn’t just lose girls to NL, they lost 12 girls last season almost all of them starters. This won’t be a fair match up unfortunately.

It seems Pride club program is on a downward spiral.

The M&D DC team was not very good this weekend. Maybe they’ll do better at the next tourney.

Beat MDU East, tied a legit Aces squad, and lost to a great Eagle Stix team. Maybe they should have been in the C bracket like BLC?

I’m hearing some parents and players have buyers remorse for jumping ship. Some think they were sold a bill of goods. Time will tell.

Is it the coaching at their level? If the Capital crew keeps mentioning that it'll take a year or two to gel, why would you think any age group would be different?

I’m guessing there’s no back-biting on the M&D DC sidelines as NL/Pride parents get frustrated with playing time and losing games. Heard from lots of Pride families who are upset and resentful...but that's just what people are saying out loud to me. From M&D DC parents posting on here - pretty clear this is all about "Wins" and I bet lots of talented girls are sitting on that sideline not developing as the parents are chasing wins. But I'm sure everyone is taking it all in stride and their coaches are managing everything perfectly. Crap on BLC all you want, at least the parents are pleasant and the girls are happy. Oh, and we keep beating MD DC so winning is fun too.

M&D black won the mid atlantic, beating Coppermine black in the final. Coppermine beat Heros green to go to playoffs, meaning it is probably M&D, CM, and Heros in that order for top dog in the area. I thought the same but would be a little more generous to the teams in the lower brackets. I thought there was still some really good lacrosse being played in the lower brackets. The top 3 teams are just in a different echelon than everyone else.

Thought stars and skywalkers looked better than their record reflects. Saw the girls on pride came off the field looking happy and like they enjoy each other so that’s a different kind of success for them. Thought Md dc looked very similar to how pride and next level played last year but can see the potential for growth on that team as they start to gel. And from what I saw the parent sideline was quiet and not crazy. Saw some of the 3D VA metro playoff game and thought they were better than I expected.

Well, that might be how you'd do it, but the PP is a parent of a DD on a top team and gets self worth and lives vicariously through their kid, so they can go out of their way to disparage others without so much as a 2nd thought. Joy!!

Not sure where you caught the delusional parent thing (do those teams' parents have their own personal chat sites?), but if you read it again it wasn't whining, was just an assessment of your character. And a pretty easy and obvious one at that. That's all.
