Honestly asking Trump voters: how can you support him after this bizarre episode?

That would be Trump. His tariffs are a hidden tax on Americans. His inflationary policies are another hidden tax.

Trump has a record of successfully cutting taxes. And inflation was a lot lower under Trump than Biden/Harris. Kamala wants to use your tax money to give $20,000 grants to drug dealers based on skin color.

Trump's tax cuts added 7.8 TRILLION to the national debt. More than any other President.

So no, you don't have a leg to stand on.

This is what they don’t understand. He’ll
cut taxes but he won’t spend less and that money has to come from somewhere.

If you want him to spend less, I’m on board with that idea. Take Elon Musk’s approach to Twitter and apply it to the federal government. Get rid of the ~75% of employees who are useless, or worse, and watch things get better than they were before.

And destroy 75% of the value of the enterprise like Elon did with Twitter?

Give me a break. Go watch Trump’s on stage interview today by Bloomberg in Chicago. He can go up on stage and joust with a hostile interviewer for an hour on economic issues. You might not like his message but this is not dementia.

Kamala was invited to a similar interview but declined. Dementia??

Economic issues? Dude was asked about Google and gave an incoherent response about the DOJ suing Virginia. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about and he clearly lost it.

He was indirectly attacking the masses of incompetents at the Justice Department.

Why is he incapable of directly answering the question?

That's easy. Because he's running against an empty suit named Kamala Harris.
I've watched all her interviews and am utterly convinced she isn't at all ready to run the country or be commander-in-chief.

and he is ready?? oh boy.

Ready? He already did it once and he was fine. And yes, we were better off then.

that was 8 years ago. he's older now.

Biden was ready four years ago. He’s no longer

Trump was president 8 years ago and we saw many people associated with him go to jail. In the meantime we saw a jury find him guilty of sexual assault. He was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business accounts to avoid paying taxes and other reasons. Hiding what was considered hush money.

And he appears to have more mental deficits that he previously had.

Don't worry, PP. If for some reason Trump can't serve out the next four years (doubtful), we have JD Vance. He is fantastic as well.

Fantastic with couches for sure.

PP here. I have been watching full videos of Trump all year. Believe me, I would love to see evidence of someone even at the level he was at 2016. I think the Democrats are marching us into world war, and the progressives are destroying the US.

But it’s clear Trump is mentally gone. I cannot vote for someone who will let a shadowy regime of people I don’t know run the country. We already have that now, and it is terrible.

This the moderator tried his best to rein him in but there's no stopping the avalanche of lies and "sir" stories.

He can rent a room at Vegas and put on whatever shows he wants. This guy is not fit to be managing a McDonald's let alone running the country.

He’s running successful businesses. He did a good job running the country once and I want him leading the country again.

I don’t know why Harris’s fans continually post these threads. It’s not like you are changing any of our minds.

He has not run successful businesses. He went bankrupt many times and all he did was slap his name on second rate products. None of which are are around today. He did not do a good job running the country. We were the laughing stock of the world. There’s more to running a country than making it so people save a few dollars on eggs. He’s not fit, too old and mentally unwell.

“Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music. Let’s make it into a music. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?” he said.
For 39 minutes, Trump swayed, bopped — sometimes stopping to speak — as he turned the event into almost a living-room listening session of his favorite songs from his self-curated rally playlist.

He played nine tracks. He danced. He shook hands with people onstage. He pointed to the crowd. Noem stood beside him, nodding with her hands clasped. Trump stayed in place onstage, slowly moving back and forth. He was done answering questions for the night.

He briefly returned to talking about the election and the importance of winning Pennsylvania. After Noem gave Trump the option of closing “with a specific song” or taking “two more fast questions,” he addressed one of his aides: “So Justin, how about a couple really beauties and we’ll sit down and relax.”

It was time to listen to Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye.” After listening to James Brown, Trump began to speak again, as if remembering that he was still at an event that was billed as a town hall.

Because you read wapo, you are grossly misinformed. There was a medical emergency among the audience. Rather than continue the town hall during a medical emergency he paused it until it was resolved. And he entertained the crowd during it.

There were multiple medical emergencies that were quickly handled by professionals outside the arena. There was no reason whatsoever to stop the proceedings much less turn them into whatever that was.

Nope, the ACTUAL FOOTAGE is all over the internet and all the news outlets. They knew you were going to bluster, so WaPo, NYT, CNN and all the other organizations showed the video.
The patients are evacuated and AFTER THAT your Dear Demented Leader shuts down the Q&A session after only 4 questions and bobs awkwardly along with some untrendy music for half an hour. Attendees don't know what to do, they mill around, and then start to dribble out of the venue. The people on stage are all cringed-out. Trump doesn't notice a thing. Brain is gone.

AND for 30 min after they'd gone. Watch the video yourself. Or has Fox News tried to hide it? You're going to have to venture into barbarian territory (ie, the rest of the internet) to look for it!
