Syphilis and other STD rates were really crazy back then, and some of those guys were in the army, which usually had camps of prostitutes following them. A lot of men were actually infertile due to STDs. And, of course, we tend to forget the high rates of natural infertility because so many people now either adopt or have fertility treatments. Anyone who does geneological or other historical research knows that it was VERY common for every family to have the childless aunt or uncle in the mix -- sometimes they adopted but often times they just were the beloved auntie/uncle that helped out nieces/nephews with childcare, money, etc. Also, particularly for women, most of the women that made the biggest contributions to the well-being of our nation did not have children of their own (because the women with children just did not have the time to do so). The idea that everyone is going to have kids of their own is a really recent phenomenon. Vance should study more history. |
Agree with this assessment. He loves her despite her being not white and one of the reasons is because she has his kids. So she's a good mother. What if she couldn't have children? I guess he would've divorced her and moved on. |
Even though she's not a white person, she did incubate his children and raise them well. That really ticks a box for this dude. Fertility will overcome all sorts of problems as a human being, including her heritage.
Good god. |
I predict that when Vance finally gets through with dealing with the couch stuff and then takes on the dolphin sex stuff, the main line of defense from DCUM's MAGA contingent will be the weird argument that ACTUALLY Vance is NOT into dolphin-related bestiality because the animal pictured in his tweet is a PORPOISE. So, all you libs can just STFU and stop LYING about everything.
Seriously, bookmark this–there WILL be discussions on FOX News about how the liberal media won't admit that Vance is into porpoise bestiality and that it's not weird and many people in Ohio and outside of liberal SF are into it as well. |
Not only are the Republican candidates weird, but so are their most fervent followers. Look at some of them: Elon Musk, weird, Kid Rock, weird, Rudy Giuliani weird, The pillow guy, weird, Ted Cruz, weird, Lauren Boebert weird, Marjorie Taylor Greene weird. I can go on and on but the pattern is clear |
I keep seeing on social media that they had their kids with IVF. Is that something she's mentioned in the record? If yes, isolated, that's not terribly abnormal for a pair of yuppies in their 30s, but with everything else about him, it certainly raises an(other) eyebrow about his sexuality. |
This guy is so easy to troll. I look at him, and could basically believe anything being thrown at him. |
Republicans are just mad because JD is basically a turd floating in their swamp soup. |
lol |
If this is true, how does he square it with the IVF embryo issue? Aren't the fundamentalists arguing that this falls under the abortion rubric, as extra embryos are created and destroyed? Didn't they close all of the IVF sites in Alabama because of this? |
I have a couple of good friends from college (and we are all around retirement age now) who never had sexual relationships (with other women or men), never married, never had children. Their lives were pretty atypical (so was mine, but I did marry and did have one kid). They always brushed off questions (like from older relatives) about marrying. One of them was presumed to be gay by her neighbor (she always was a tomboy) and was very offended by the assumption. We've never discussed the reason for their celibacy, and unless they were to bring it up I would consider it not my business. |
