She is also having sex during those times.

So Brittany had to be on board with this relationship.

Has no one else here ever dissociated? So odd.

No, I have not dissociated.
But I just read a whole forum in which young adults talked about wetting themselves because they "dissociate" while staring at their phones or playing video games, and were incredulous that most people don't experience this.

If you’ve ever had sex and fantasized about someone, other than who you’re with, that is a form of disassociation.

Cool. I've never done that.

This sounds like pop psychology. Daydreaming and fantasizing are not the same as disassociating. This is Gen Z pathologizing everything.

One would have to die. It would be like Sophie’s choice. I think they did the right thing.

+1. Both could have died. The risk of losing one or both was too great.

One is married and one is tagging along. Abby is 4 inches taller so the other twin has to walk on her toes to keep up. What kind of life is that? They only have one set of reproductive organs. So if they get pregnant who is listed as the mother?

Well I, for one, thank God someone distantly observing this situation is focused on the paperwork implications—which have probably been fully discussed and resolved by those directly involved for some time now.

You’re a eugenicist, PP. Own it.

NP. That’s quite the leap. Oh, and you’re an idiot.

That being said, they aren't here for my comfort and I'm genuinely happy for them that they have a nice life and one or both has found love.

They are human beings like you are a human being. They didn’t choose to be co-joined twins. Why are you squeed out by people who didn’t choose their circumstances but graduated from college and teach 5th grades?

Stop pretending that they look normal. They don’t. Of course they didn’t choose their circumstances. Neither did the elephant man. But they still look odd.

Nobody is pretending they look normal. Lots of people don’t look “normal.” What is “normal,” btw? Civilized people don’t base their opinions of people on their looks.

I bet someone, somewhere, thinks you look odd.

DP- come on now you can’t be serious. There’s literally only one other set of conjoined twins with their same condition- connected in the same way- alive in the world right now. You mean to say that if they were walking down the street you wouldn’t look twice? Of course they look odd. It’s an odd situation.

You seem odd too.

I wonder if the twins think of themselves as being kinky because they're in a throuple, or this was just the only way they could do the traditional thing of getting married.

OK I think this circumstance is very interesting because I’m not understanding how the orgasm/mental connection works here… But you can’t possibly think they’re doing this for a kink! They’re too living human beings, who deserve to be happy and fall in love. It’s a highly unusual situation and hopefully this guy is just super open-minded. He has a daughter from another relationship.

Why do you need to understand that?

Who said need? I’m curious and I want to know doesn’t mean I need to know. Don’t act like you’re so above all of this.

I wonder what you’re like in the throes of ecstasy. P

That PP likes to think they’re so above it all, but when you really get down to it there’s no way in helł there’s not even a fleeting thought of “omg what on earth is happening there…” when they see a medical oddity. Its a normal human reaction.

Human beings are not “medical oddities.” These women deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

Some of you are not very nice.

Being curious about this VERY unique medical situation is in no way disrespecting these women. Humans are meant to be curious creatures, that's how we make progress in science, the world, etc.

The only odd thing is people pretending they don't have any questions.

Would you be ok with strangers talking about your body on an online forum? And in a way that indicated they find you repulsive? Be honest now.

With the exception of kissing, they will experience the same things physically, but emotionally he is in love with just one? How could that not be difficult? I hope Brittany can find love, too.

And what happens if Brittany wants to date and get married?

Maybe he’s the greatest guy in the world. Or maybe he gets off feeling like he gets to be with two women all the time.

I feel sorry for Brittany regardless.

Yeah I wonder how that would work bc Abby is a married woman and she is now dating some guy ? It doesn’t seem logical that he isn’t married to both of them. and let’s be honest even if he married both of them is it really bigotry? Could anyway really bring themselves to make that argument?

They only have one set of reproductive organs, so it isn't like he can only have sex with Abby. When the husband has sex he is having sex with both of them because they share a vagina. So what if Brittany says no she doesn't want to have sex and Abby wants to have sex with her husband? The whole thing is so bizzare.

It's totally weird and the posters gaslighting like they wouldn't have questions if their son walked in with a girlfriend like Abby are delusional. Also saying they're not medical abnormalities. They are and they've been studied their whole lives. That will probably continue. It's a pretty unique thing, odd to act like it's not. I'm a twin myself but my BIL doesn't have to screw me as someone along for the ride. That's VERY odd. They're anatomically a 2 headed person.

What I think is weird is posters pretending that this situation isn't highly unusual and that people are wrong to be curious. No one here is being cruel or disrespectful. Everyone seems to recognize that these are lovely women, and wishes them the best. I doubt anyone here would point and laugh at the twins if they met them, and be like "So how do y'all have sex?" This is an anonymous forum.
What I find particularly interesting is that people are asking progressive-minded questions about consent, autonomy and fairness. Yes, people are curious, because this is a very curious situation, but they are wondering things that people wouldn't really have considered twenty years ago. But even this is beneath some people, and how dare we wonder at all. These people just suck the air out of absolutely everything.

I think it’s icky you people are talking about these women’s bodies as if they are not human beings with feelings. Would you feel it was fine if people started discussing your body and genitalia or a loved one’s body and genitalia online?

I'm sure that the twins themselves understand that they are a curiosity. Why else would they have a reality TV show? People are fascinated about how they navigate their lives, how they drive, how they work, how they make friends and yes, how they date. The twins know this and are pretty forthcoming about their lives. It's part and parcel of being a two-in-five-billion rarity. Everyone knows that the twins are human beings with feelings and almost everyone here has been decent. You're being extremely disingenuous. And yes, if I SHARED A BODY with my sister for decades and had a reality TV show about our lives as conjoined twins, I would expect that there would be discussion about our bodies and sex lives. I would probably have professionals to deal with anything rising to the level of a security risk and otherwise I'd ignore it, like celebrities do.

They are public figures. They have had reality tv shows and they are actively choosing to put this information out there. It isn’t abnormal to speculate on these things once they’ve decided to do all that.

Apparently the groom’s mom posted a bunch of videos and then deleted her Facebook page after all the attention. In them you see them dancing at the wedding and it does seem he only makes eye contact with Abby. Their relationship seems more normal if all 3 are in it together but maybe just Abby is the one who
Is in a relationship.

That is, by far, the weirdest part of this. The pretending like Brittany isn’t there.
