Again, with all due respect to the good lacrosse players that will find a home somewhere, there are not 12 Capital-level players on Stars. Or Pride. Some from each plus others, including ones currently playing for MD teams will comprise CLC Blue.

Yes to this. The best chance at a competitive team is a make up of 6, max from stars, 8-10 from Pride and 5 from MD teams or Richmond or random unknown.

I agree with this statement. And if this happens, these girls will compete very well

I do not agree with this. The Capital Blue 2028 team will be competitive regardless of whether any MD players decide to jump ship. It might be more competitive if one or two of the better players were to leave but I am tired of the idea that local talent cannot compete with these girls.

Typically, they can. But at this grad year several local girls left early on depleting the local capital pool. Hero’s alone has 5 and is top 3 in the country. If you don’t think having those girls back at Capital next year would be a benefit, you are delusional or you just want your daughter to make the team instead.

The DMV girls on the MD teams are not the top players on those teams is my point. Get over trying to wish them back.

Hero’s best player is off the charts good. And she is not a local girl. The DMV girls on that team are solid players but not standouts.

Stop talking about specific girls.

Hope Capital tryouts draw the best players in the area. Their recruiting success (look at the '25s) warrants it.

I would argue that none of the nova/dmv girls would be the best players on a Baltimore team. Are their some that could be in the top 3-5on their teams yea but none would be the top player. What I will say is that some of those girls on MD teams could be a top player for capital but we’ve see. This debate before about a former pride player which got disgustingly ugly and got the page shutdown. I would suggest to stop pushing this narrative of who’s better.

The debate is not whether or not DMV girls are top players on MD teams. It is simply stating that DMV girls who currently play for MD teams returning to Capital next year would make a stronger team than having only current pride and stars players. That does not seem to be a very controversial idea. A few people on here turn it into something bigger by calling out specific players and saying they aren’t as good as the best players currently in nova. That is irrelevant. The fact is that stars + pride + Maryland players is a stronger team than just stars + pride.

Where did someone say specific players are not as good as best players currently in nova? I missed that post.

Worth noting that Stars and CC Lax get a vote on the second part of that. Let's go Stars! Have handled M&D Red this Fall, and played CC Lax close. M&D Orlando Black is beatable.

Stars should easily win their bracket

If Stars takes their 12 Capital-bound players, they will likely make a run at the championship. Right?

They are only taking their best 12, so that is probably in the cards.

Good luck Stars!

Is Pride playing at Spooky Nook?

Not playing. Scared they might run into the Stars superteam.

You’re working hard to get people going. I recommended subtly - your technique is too “in your face”. That should get you better results.

Yes, solid players that would improve the Cap 28 team. They don’t have to be the top 3 on the team to be able to make a better capital team.

Not a given that they would all make Blue.
