It just shows that they were putting on a front (Amy) for a long time, and exploiting their happy family image (writing books about it). The gooey stuff on Instagram is bulls**t. They could’ve been very unhappy together, and I don’t knock divorce, but why the fake stuff.

This is way too astroturfed to not be completely choreographed. Nobody even knows who these bozos are, why would it be front page news everywhere? Why would they have paparazzi following them for weeks and months on end? Doesn’t feel genuine because it isn’t. Publicly stunt to boost ratings of a dumb morning show watched by unemployed people.

I think one of the disgruntled spouses tipped off the paparazzi/media in an effort to publicly shame them and potentially hurt their career.

Having said that, destroying your STBX’s career is usually a dumb move since your payout is less if they lose their paycheck.

It doesn't look like the soon to be exes need the money. They have successful careers. TJ and Amy were overly friendly on their afternoon show, GMA3. Now I see why. I hope the show gets canceled. It is unnecessary. The soaps were better, although this is its own soap opera.

I tuned in periodically before and did yesterday for the evening repeat and today’s live version. Their demeanor on the show now has a very cocky air to it. Especially with the jokes about happy it’s the weekend. Career wise I think she will be more fine than him because she is a better ‘actress’ than him and more professional. He seems even more out of his league now with that VitD interview and just overall rambles more.

I disagree with the posters who say the spouses’ silence means they were blindsided. Not necessarily. Most adults don’t go bananas on social media or publicly engage with the media. In fact, they might have signed something as part of their separation or divorce settlement preventing them from talking. But quietly leaking something without attribution? Yep.

I doubt any actress that has experienced infidelity as a betrayed spouse will go on that show with them after this.

The smug cockiness is really hard to take. It's like when a predator or abuser rubs it in someone else's face---like try, I'm untouchable. I can do vile things and get away with it.
