War is senseless. It would be wonderful if Russia would utterly fail at gaining anything with this war. Russia started this with with aspirations of demilitarizing Ukraine. Perhaps Russia is the country that will be demilitarized in the end?

War is senseless. It would be wonderful if Russia would utterly fail at gaining anything with this war. Russia started this with with aspirations of demilitarizing Ukraine. Perhaps Russia is the country that will be demilitarized in the end?

Even Donbas was a sham. The media keeps calling them "separatists" - which is false. Prior to 2014 Donbas was in peace with Ukraine. Putin sent a huge number of Russian provocateurs into Donbas to stage its revolution and independence movement and DPR has been nothing but an extension of the Russian army this whole time.

Russia is half Asia and half Europe and I doubt either wants to 'claim them' now. I just can't with Russia. Worldwide pandemic, recession, starvation, death and they throw gas on the fire.
