This is a failure of leadership. Everyone associated with it should be run out of office. |
Wow, it looks like they took it down? Was definitely for the pediatric vaccine and I have two appointment confirmations for tomorrow afternoon. Keep trying--I bet it will come back up. |
| I can almost guarantee that if you go to one of the DC school clinics in one of the low-vax wards, you will be able to have your child vaccinated. |
| I'm trapped in the CVS second-dose screen! I found a time slot for my first dose but now I can't find any times for the one date they're giving me for the second dose. Any way out of this while still keeping my first dose appt? |
They ran out of doses. They are basing current appointments on the what has already shipped and arrived. More was shipped (over the weekend) it just has not arrived. As soon as it does they will open up more appointments. They are expecting the mass vaccination sites to be up and running this weekend they just don't want to guarantee it prior to shipments in hand. Do reach out ot your pediatricians. Many of they received doses today and are scheduling now. |

DC health will be hosting mass vax sites for kids ages 5-11 in Ward 4 (Takoma Community Center) and Ward 8 (Ft Stanton Rec) this Friday (11/5) from 3:30-7:30 -

You might have to search for different locations. I was stuck on that same screen, and even got threatened to time out and lose the first dose. I wound up taking a time slot in Frederick for dose 2, but I'm going to keep looking for closer second dose time slots. |
+1. I keep hoping FCHD has just not gotten their act together. They are planning on closing sites early today or something like that to plan, so maybe tomorrow things will be up? |
| Our kids go to Medstar Georgetown Pediatrics and they just opened up to appointments. I called (202) 295-0547, waited on hold for about 10 minutes, and got an appointment there for my 5-year-old's first shot on Tuesday. Good luck everyone! |
| Made my kids via cvs (not in DC) for next Tuesday. I'm excited. |
Just click what you need to to get the appointment and think later. |
| it's like CVS and Walgreens are the only pharmacies with it? Walgreens is not a common store around here. |
Yep, I went from the very beginning of the VAMS page to make sure I clicked on the pediatric dose. The first couple times I just got the random place in DC where there were no appointments and then I must have clicked at the exact right time since the Fairfax Government Center appeared and had open slots. |
Rite Aid, but not sure in this area. |
