This is disgusting.

They have lost the plot.

The media is tripping over itself (and is looking like idiots in the process) desperately trying to "bothsides" this in order to "look neutral and independent." But big-picture thinking and objectivity is completely out the window.

If you have any friends or family in the media or on editorial boards, tell them.

It’s not about both sides. It’s about clicks and ad time. Outrage sells. I get your outrage but you really can’t be so simple.

You didn’t need to insult the PP. It’s not just about clicks and time. The “mainstream” media is using the GOP’s framing. That is not trying to drive clicks, that’s pushing an agenda.

It’s entirely about clicks. The more emotion generated, the more lucrative the revenue stream. Yes it would be preferable to not push the repubs agenda, but I cannot believe you and others are so ignorant as to not know how things work. Wow.

Fine, so can everyone STFU about how they’re all liberal? Because that’s not the agenda at all.

OMFG. I can’t believe you don’t understand this. The “mainstream media” is owned by corporations. There are literally like 15 billionaires who own it all, and unsurprisingly, they’re sociopaths who just want more money. Using your milquetoast “Yes it would be preferable” is letting them off the hook. They are acting as a less obvious, and thus far more insidious, propaganda wing for the GOP!! Everything is framed to the GOP’s benefit! Traitors to their country: “oh, they were just misunderstood!” Donald Trump stomping us all through four years of awful: “he’s really coming into his own now, he’s truly the president.”

Ev-uh-ree-thing is framed to get the GOP back in power. They don’t care if it’s the end of democracy and America. They just want more money and more power and fewer regulations.

So no, Miss Thing, I’m not ignorant. You are.

Emotion. Kind of proving my point. Thanks!

NPR in 2019 giving air to a discredited forces birther doctor and spotlighting a woman who didn’t learn she was pregnant until 26 weeks in an article about late abortion, a unicorn, like she’s a typical candidate for that procedure.

Gee, why is Biden polling so badly? Couldn’t have anything to do with the media’s vendetta against him.
