I think the pp is just noting that FCV is trying to paint Loudoun leadership as corrupt due to covid or something. Seems to me that Loudoun is Biden and fcv is trump in terms of ideology and culture

Why would Parks and Rec favor a club that isn’t even based in Loudoun? Any money FCV makes goes to Fairfax. It is reasonable that that Parks and Rec tells them to find public fields in Fairfax.

Why are you surprised?

They hold on to spring 2020 fees for over 90 days. On the 91st day families get a statement about how Loudoun is very sorry about Covid happening but they’re not giving you your money back.
A couple of months later they receive more than half a million dollars for free…
The climax of it all is seeing coaches obliged to take a pay cut while their leaders increase their salary.

Is there a difference in policies which I thought were dictated by Parks and Rec, or is this about not giving refunds for a season canceled due to COVID?

The whole Loudoun vs. FCV slap fight is such nonsense. There are so many "split families" - in my DD's age group, there is at least three families with one kid playing for FCV and a sibling playing for Loudoun.

Yes, there are a considerable number of kids who left Loudoun for FCV. But the whole dynamic and hatred is way overblown.
