Baked&Wired in Georgetown has been my fave for years!!!! They are enormous with fantastic flavors and the cake is dense and moist. Yum, yum, yum...I haven't been over there in a while...gotta go!
I also like BakeShop in Clarendon. They are authentically homemade tasting...and moist. Crumbs cupcakes, on the other hand, are very dry and the frosting is hard. |

Georgetown cupcake is my favorite! Frosting (Chevy Chase MD) is good; I wish I liked their flavors more.
