That’s terrible. I’m paying 3.35 in Rockville right now.

It’s getting refilled

Literal highway robbery. I just bought in DC and it was only $3.30. And I was just topping up at the place closest to our house ahead of a road trip tomorrow. It’s literally under $2.90 in many parts in NoVa within 5 miles of the river.

Exactly this. Plus anything right off I-95 is effectively $1 more per gallon than a mile away off the highway. For example, all the stations near 7 Corners are in the 2.80s.

Ok, but these stations are all in W. Springfield and Burke, not right off 95. They are still 3.45-3.49. Looks like stations closer to 95 are actually a bit cheaper.

That Sunoco always has crazy prices.

OP’s $7 a gallon is clear not materializing and Biden is refilling the reserves at a far better price.

It’s like going back and highlighting posts of people who were certain that the Republicans would dominate in the midterms. It’s just a lot of fun. Smart people would at some point examine their beliefs and why they hold them; Republicans put their heads in the Fox sands.

I will point out that Biden doesn't control gas prices. Whenever they are high.

But all the Republican experts said gas prices go up based on how much the President loves pipelines and offshore leases. That was all that mattered they said.

You'd think at this point they'd just call it Sheetz Shauze or something like that.

I didn’t say he did, though a lot of annoying “Brandon did this” stickers are looking really funny right now.

Seems to have stayed in this range, maybe a dime less. I’ll need to buy gas for a trip by the end of the month and figure I’ll fill up if I see it in the 3.30s.

We always get screwed on gas prices in this area of the county and I’m not sure why. That Sunoco is crazy expensive, the ones near 95 are expensive, West Springfield is expensive but a little less, Kingstowne is almost the same price as Lorton and there’s another expensive Sunoco in the Saratoga shopping center in Springfield. You have to go up to the Fair Lakes area by the BJ’s and Hobby Lobby for reasonable priced gas, or toward Woodbridge, but then you’re fighting traffic on 95 or 123 or along Old Bridge Rd. And it hardly seems worth it unless you already happened to be over there anyway.

Gas prices are up maybe 15 cents from their lows a couple weeks ago. The 76 at Seven Corners was back to $2.99 today + a 9 cent discount per gallon on Gas Buddy.

It was in the low 2.80’s back before Xmas.
