The US and Saudis can make up any Iranian shortfall. Saudis have spare capacity that can be added almost instantaneously. That’s why WTI only trades $73/barrel, even after a week of a shooting war. Collective wisdom of the oil market says this is not a problem.

Oh here comes the “think of the farmers” emotional ploy. Family farms are bit that common these days. I don’t shed any tears for multimillion dollar farm operations that are run on an industrial scale. If you live in rural america and you can’t afford transportation then I guess you need to pack your bags and move to the city just like a billion other people have done over the last few decades.
