It’s about the same as it was in December.

I hope it's twice that because those red state MAGAS and their gas guzzling trucks are gonna suffer!!!!!

It's ALWAYS a projection from the right.

FED WATCH: “.. the prospect of $100 oil is being priced into call option premiums, which are spiking, implying a ~30% probability of $100 being reached within the next three months.”

The US and Saudis can make up any Iranian shortfall. Saudis have spare capacity that can be added almost instantaneously. That’s why WTI only trades $73/barrel, even after a week of a shooting war. Collective wisdom of the oil market says this is not a problem.

It will be fascinating to see how Trump blames Biden.

Easy. He will blame Biden and the cult will believe him. Facts and reason don't matter.

Interesting prediction. Oil is down 7.5% now. It is in the 60's.

Republicans know their supporters are mostly poorly educated and not able to reason.

We got it.

WTF are you talking about. We had record production under Biden that continues now and that admin realized you could do that while investing in renewables. SDASU with your BS.

Will grocery prices come down now that oil prices are falling?

The average price of gas in the U.S. is under $3.25 per gallon.

They may think twice before rolling coal.

Cause for celebration- I would like to see $10/gas. I walk and bike nearly everywhere.

Have you ever been to the midwest, pp? Have you ever visited rural America?
Do you understand that it is not possible for everyone to bike and walk everywhere?
Do you understand that the farmers that grow your food and raise your crops need fuel for their farm equipment?

You are just clueless.

Oh here comes the “think of the farmers” emotional ploy. Family farms are bit that common these days. I don’t shed any tears for multimillion dollar farm operations that are run on an industrial scale. If you live in rural america and you can’t afford transportation then I guess you need to pack your bags and move to the city just like a billion other people have done over the last few decades. Don’t whine about your problems, fix them.
