Read up on how she really is vs the act that makes her money. Incredible class.

God this thread is a cesspool.

The "haters" and the Swifties, you're all crazy.

It would actually be fun to have a normal celebrity thread about this wedding where no one has a weird parasocial attachment to the people involved either way so we can just gawk at rich, famous people doing rich, famous people things without getting into a battle to the death as to whether Taylor Swift is the devil incarnate or the queen of the universe (hint: neither! she's just a person!).

I think you are all crazy. It's okay to criticize Swift for some of this stuff (MSG? Really? I hope that's not actually true because it's kind of depressing) and also it's weird that people fixate on her more than all the many other celebs who do as bad or worse all the time.

Hey, crazy, thanks for joining the club!

What I find so insane about this thread is that there are legitimate valid criticisms you can make of Taylor and Travis. But the haters here are so bizarre. Trying to insult Taylor by saying she is 36 and “old.”

Firstly, in no culture or language or even biologically a 36 year old human is considered old. She is in the absolute prime of her life!

Secondly, do we want to discuss the implications of using age as an insult?? Excuse me? Why and how is being old an insulting form of existing as a human?

It is so twisted.

You didnt read the thread. I didnt read many swift haters. Lots of tavis haters though. But he is "eh sligtly charming" at best and "gross and thirsty" at worst, so hard to blame them.

Have your big party taylor. Sell that icon most popular ever version of yourself. Then sneak off to paris with matty in two years and write a ttpd sequel. You've got us hoooked, elizabeth taylor indeed.

Firstly, you are correct that she isn’t old, only a young middle aged, but you are also leaving the context of her fan base which was tween and teen girls and their moms during the eras tour. The songs she writes are self-admittedly about teens and the way teenager emotions are out of control. She has said this a at some point, yes, as you age, you should process things better than teens and as a songwriter she should be able to write songs that are more mature than teenage emotions or reflections of those emotions. She isn’t doing that, so she is aging out of her current craft.

Secondly, You are excused.

He was already famous, jealous lady

DP. He is clearly way more famous since being with her. I think Tom Hiddleston was the last of her boyfriends to not get a major fame boost because of her.

I’m curious if other people that like her music think she can come out with better stuff while in this relationship. Her last album was my least favorite.

Is Travis’s “roommate” Ross going to be the best man?

I knew who Travis was before Taylor but couldn’t recognize Tom if he said hello to me.

You didn’t read thread either. Some people were calling Taylor washed up, which is bizarre and inaccurate

NP but I think her emotional maturity is forever stunted to what it was during that first meteoric rise to fame. There’s been no processing or maturing or introspecting or developing the way normal people living normal lives get to do. Her life instead has since then been about performing, PR machines, alienation from regular society, no chance for organic human relationships, since everyone around her is either a fan, an employee, or a stakeholder. She can’t even have normal daily interactions with people because of her fame, security detail, fans surrounding her, paparazzi etc. Normal people layer hundreds upon thousands of these interactions, experiences, and relationships, in order to figure out how to move within society. No wonder she can’t grow or learn!

I don’t know if he’s gay or bi but Kelce definitely gives major ick vibes. If any of her prior boyfriends acted like him she would have dumped them immediately.
