Yes, all of that is correct, but the problem is that Zimmerman would be even worse for kids. |
Absurd. Zimmerman would bring a refreshingly younger and more well-informed perspective to the board. Someone with recent experience inside elementary schools who knows first hand what the problems are and which solutions would be helpful. |
Her priority is looking out for teachers, not students. |
Plus she apparently has some back-room deal with an unknown benefactor to pay her while she's on the board, since she won't be able to keep teaching. |
Do you have evidence of this or is this just random speculation? |

MCEA is the advocate for educators in the system. That's why they exist. They shouldn't be on the BoE. |
"They" would not be on the BOE. But their former members certainly can be (and are). |
Just like several former principals have been elected to the board: Docca, Durso, and Dixon. It's not an issue. |
MCEA is a union. They are not on the board. Members are. People don't get a choice to be in a union and are forced to pay dues. A teacher is not in a position of power in a school. |
Unions are advocates for their members. That's what Zimmerman says she wants to be. That's great, but then she should run for MCEA president, not the BoE. |
Are you a shill for Diaz's campaign? You keep saying the same thing over and over again. |
No, I'm definitely not for Diaz, but I am anti-Zimmerman. |
A double hater |
Yes, absolutely. |
