You don’t speak for everyone. It’s interesting data. |

there are a ton of D1 programs and D2 programs that are really not known for their high-level academics.
I know several families who opt not to play D1 lacrosse and rather go to a higher-caliber academic school. |
Several families opt out? LMAO |
| Is the All American tryout worth the money? |
|
Here are the coaches for the All America
Highlight: Buggs Combs, Matt Brigham Burn: Jon Lombardo, Jeff Schwartz Command: Tim Dodds, Mike Kubik The teams are limited to 23 players. Over the 2 nights of tryouts, the number will be whittled down. You hope the coaches will pick the best players at tryouts; but, some players are already picked in their minds. Some players make it based on their talent, some make it based on their connections. Good luck to yours! |
my son fell into their category... he was getting recruited by High Point, Mercer, BU, Fairfield, and St Joseph's.. he decided to give up on D1 lacrosse and ended up getting into UVA on his own. He plays club lacrosse now and loves it. |
Glad it worked out for your son and UVA is a great school. I would also note that getting recruited and getting an actual offer are two different things. Coaches recruit many players for each spot that is open. HP, BU and St. Joe's are pretty good mid level D1 programs so I am sure he was getting real interest and he made the right choice. I would say that in the sport of lacrosse there are more high academic programs than not. It is at least 60/40 in D1 |

Hearing some rumors from some credible sources that Bullis best returning player will be transferring to Georgetown Prep for his junior and senior seasons.
Would be a huge addition to GP given the amount of offensive firepower Hoyas graduated. |
|
All of the school transfers are crazy to me. |
The best players go to the best programs. Bullis is on the decline. Kids jumping ship and Prep will gladly take transfers. Transfers is how they built their championships teams the last few years. |
| Fake news per normal this time of year. |
The only marquee transfer Prep had on it’s roster the past few years was Kabari (top 5 player in 2023 class, Princeton) and Aldridge (top 3 fogo in 2022 class, UVA) To say the Hoyas built their championship team off transfers is just a major exaggeration on your end. Bullis the past 5 years, mainly under the old headmaster was basically transfer U, taking in kids for their senior seasons, admitting kids from other programs who had been kicked out for discipline related issues etc. The only thing I can agree with you on is Bullis def seems to be fading. |
| Without the face off guy, they don’t win in 2021. Without the attackkid they don’t win this year. |
You don’t know much. Not true at all. Those players were definitely top in their field, but Prep had so much depth they would have been successful without them. They work as a team with major contributors in all positions. |
