First of all, the children and grandchildren of immigrants lose their native language and adopt English. The Washington Post recently published an article about how hard immigrants work to make sure their children grow up bilingual and usually they find it a losing battle against the influence of English. But, no don't bother doing any actual research about the process of assimilation in this country. That wouldn't support your deluded sense of victimization.

Phillips is not even an American corporation, they function as a forward thinking international one. They assume that with so many people in the US speaking spanish they will offer it up.

You fail to state why it's a bad thing for a country to have more than one language. It's only bad if you're a hateful xenophobe. Me, I'm thrilled to have access to awesome authentic hispanic food, for my kid to be learning spanish from her school friends, and for a new generation of hard-working, family-loving, friendly folks to be stepping into gaps in the economy that "real" Americans are too lazy and entitled to fill.

Notice that the "primary" language of Ukraine is Russian, and Ukrainian is not even listed. I think the omnipresence of English is partially an artifact of Philips' language capabilities.
