Because SYC prioritizes field space and curriculum for the boys. One of the previous SYC is a friend of mine, we’d chat about all sorts of things. Every single training program that he brought up with leadership wasn’t even responded to, let alone rejected. That’s all you need to really know. SYC great club until you’re hitting U14 |

That team not only has fallen apart because of the coach, but his OTHER team was underperforming. That’s not why he was moved. He’s a good coach to get them to State Cup later rounds… THAT’S why they moved him to a younger boys 3rd team. SYC is aaaaaall about the boys. |

| Hi, I'm a new parent to this thread. We've been assigned Lee District Park as our practice location; I was told this is where the team has always trained (sometimes Edison H.S.)... is there any validity to taking away field space? |

Please don't listen to this person. He/She has been making some ridiculous claims on these pages continuously. The field space is not being taken away. Especially in the Fall, no other changes to allocated fields will be taking place. |

Agreed that's false information. That poster is just the SYC TD who used to work for LMVSC and is very butt-hurt about that for some reason. Theories vary on why that is, especially since he was the one that quit. He is very insecure so instead of focusing on making his teams better he spends all day every day on here making up lies and rumors hoping that a few uniformed people will join his new club which he then largely ignores to make more posts here. Very sad. But welcome to the drama and stay far away from SYC. Any other club is better. |
