Fairfax County Double Murder

Grand jury duty is different than regular, I don't think it is open to the public. I'd call the clerk and confirm.

No, April 15 is when the grand jury will hear the evidence to see if there’s enough for her to be indicted in the circuit court… if they move forward which hopefully they will, they will then set a trial date. No way will that be anytime soon.

And that’s not open to public, right?

Yes, open to the public.

She also had a motions hearing today about bond but very doubtful they'd go for that.

Anyone on this thread due for jury duty on the 15th? Lol?

Grand jury proceedings are NOT open to the public.

Correct- the TRIAL will be open to the public but not the Grand Jury.

If they had a strong case to charge him with the stabbing without her testimony he would already have been arrested.

What am I missing here- if BB fires the first shot, why on earth would he ask the AP to get another gun? Why wouldn’t he, the trained LE, fire the second? If in a juror, what possible reasoning is there for that?

This is perhaps the most puzzling aspect of the whole thing. Hard to see any scenario where this makes sense.

There was already a gun in the room and even if BB claims he was too busy assisting CB to fend of JR with a 2nd round, he could have just told AP to use his gun that was already there. Introducing a 2nd gun defies logic.

it really doesn't make sense. We don't know if the events really happened in that order either. This is the version they are telling. The part in which CB was stabbed is still missing. One of the two stabbed CB.

Yep.

2 guns vs 1 knife (if you buy the bs story that JR was the one who actually stabbed CB)
Makes no sense. Even if they try to argue that JR was still alive and trying to fight back. A trained cop (BB) would have just shot him again.

Someone screwed up the original plan. I think AP was supposed to have been the only shooter but choked.

BB was clearly the one that stabbed CB. That takes a certain level of dedication to be able to pull off.

I wonder if AP screwed up original plan by coming back to the house for the lunches?

Now that's an interesting thought.

Are you suggesting that AP screwed up JR's plan to randomly stab some woman he had never met in person?
She just so happened to have recently been trained on how to shoot a gun! Perfect!
She also just so happened to have moved in to the dead woman's bed before it was even cold!
She's such a hero!

No - that was definitely part of the OG plan. They needed a ruse for why they would have "caught" JR in action.

JR did not randomly stab anyone. AP screwed up BB's plot to kill the wife and blame the JR.

Then how would they have explained why they caught JR at the house in the first place? BB was supposedly out of the house as well. Coming back for the lunches makes it look like they just so happened to catch JR off guard. AP definitely was in on the plan. She never would have kept silent this long if she wasn't in on it from day 1.
