| Woodlin ES is a great school. Very involved PTA, principal really advocates for the school and its community. Lots of fun afterschool clubs and activities. |

| Too broad an area... there are many excellent elementary schools, and several that are not as good. What part of Silver Spring? Oakland Terrace, Viers Mill, Highland View, Woodlin are all mentioned frequently on this board. |

| Forest Knolls is a great school! It also includes the program for physically handicapped children for the county and it is an inclusion program so your children will benefit from this diversity. |

Hello, I am new to the forum! There seems to have been lots of discussion regarding Silver Spring, MD schools. We are expecting our first child and we are considering moving to Silver Spring, MD. Would someone please suggest the best zip codes to consider for the best schools.
