I was really turned off by Michaels reaction when Ashley said at the restaurant 'what would you do if I said that was over (being with others)?'... 'because I AM saying that'. It was like someone flipped a switch. His eyes were teary before, but after that, he got pissed off, pissy and pouted and wanted the cameras OFF. I'm sure he thought he married the fun gal and she did a bait and switch. But guess what, Michael? Nothing more gross than having a newborn baby, establishing a family and still trying to bang other random people. I normally don't mind Michael but his reaction was VERY revealing.
Having said that, if he HAD cheated, the dick pics would already be out, etc. But I think the stripper was the limiting factor, not him. He'd have been up for it if she was, I'm sure. |

It pains me to see someone like Ashley -- who has everything going for her (smart, funny, drop-dead gorgeous) -- stay with someone like Michael. Why? Why? Why? She could do SO much better. It's like she doesn't have the confidence, but she should! |

1. Daddy issues. 2. Being raised to put too much value in her looks (pageant nonsense) and probably feel like they're all she has to offer. 3. Desperately trying to get some money to create stability for her kids that was lacking in her upbringing. |

+1 Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that Candya$$ and Gizelle took Ashley aside at the lake house because they wanted to tell her the news about Michael “in private” - forget the fact that millions of viewers would be watching this very painful moment?? Private my a$$. So much virtue signaling. Real friends would never have brought it up on camera at all, but then of course, it wouldn’t be a reality show. |

Ugh is right. Does anyone else find that Ashley just never seems particularly upset about anything?? She always smiles her way through these awful revelations. Why on earth she’s stuck with Michael this long is beyond me. |

One thing that’s really been surprising to me lately is how much Chris (“Big Boy”) has been grossly sexual. I used to like him a lot, admired his relationship with Monique, etc. But now he seems so overtly sexual.
The champagne bottle fellacio was so weird. Honestly, I didn’t even get what he was doing - I wonder if they cut some of it. |

She's providing her kids with the three things she didn't have: 1) money (increases each year they stay married and with each baby they have together) 2) a successful, involved dad (even though Michael is skeevy, he's there) 3) two kids with the SAME dad I didn't even realize that #3 was a goal for some women, until a friend of mine asked her ex-husband to father one more baby with her, just so they have the same parents. He said no, and she was very upset. Choose not to have any more kids than to have multiple baby daddies like she and her sisters experienced. Some day, when Ashley is finished with having babies, likely when her kids are teens or HS graduates, she will divorce and start a new life. Hopefully she has two good runs. |
