Someone needs to teach the lefty cavs attacker how to finish.

She's a freshman. Big respect to her for playing against girls who have had the varsity experience for 3+ years. You're mad because she outshoots your daughter with less experience. Grow up, get a life.

She has been a big part of the Woodson offense and has helped the other girls get good looks and opportunities.

I was informed there was a comment made about my “lefty attacker” daughter. Does she wish she had those 4 shots back, yes, but how about the WP made good saves. As any freshman starting on varsity, they are going to have good games and not so good games. But to come on her to pop off on a 15 year old is complete BS. Do better

Any parent who comes on this anonymous board to single out and criticize a high school player should check themselves. As a lax parent I’m appalled. I saw the game. Freshman attacker was fantastic. WP goalie was also fantastic. Critical parent should get out there and try either position.

It's unconscionable that someone specifically called out your daughter. Props to her for being a starter as a freshman and for even having four shots on goal. Seriously, if it were my kid I would be absolutely livid. (I don't have a player on either team - just offering some support.)

Parents, do better - and we wonder why our kids' mental health takes a beating in sports.

If not Woodson than WP or WS?

WS.

WS lives off their self-drawing middie getting possessions. She's really good, but a team with a drawstick and a taker that knows how to use it can neutralize them. The question is whether WP or Woodson can do it.

Just report it and it will get pulled. No need to feed into the negative and draw attention to the post. Anytime I see a team number and negative comment, I just report it. This isn't the place for that. I'd report this one, but lefty attacker could be anything if you don't know team specifics.

Woodson will win States. Don't let the slow start fool you.

Have to love the exuberant optimism, if not the humor. Best of luck.

What players are in the run for each district player of the year? There are some amazing contenders across the board. Coaches are going to have a rough time deciding who gets the honors.

How do we discuss POY without mentioning specific athletes? I realize a nomination is positive, but it could lead to another poster noting flaws with the specific athlete's game. Just today we there was a discussion about not mentioning individuals.

Like usual, BF has an easy run to state semis and finals. What a joke. This is why no one on this board takes them seriously. Top 4 teams in Region D can easily beat them.

I’m not saying region D isn’t great and that BF has an easier run, but you do realize that BF beat two out of the top four this year, right? Numbers 2 through 5 are very close to each other and any one of them could beat the other

Anyways, I just wanted to point out what am idiot you are

Like usual an idiot will come on here and make the statement well in the quarterfinals if BF gets there, they will have to either play sixth ranked deep run or seventh ranked Cosby and then in the semifinals they will either play the one through fourth rated currently
Unless the C1 team pulls an upset in quarter finals against D2 team. Zip it

Easiest run is for D1.

here is a novel concept - just win. Tough game in Districts? Win. Hard team in Regionals? Win. Tough draw in States? Win. Yorktown does. Champs take on all comers…stop whining because you can’t win. Perform when it counts, which is ALWAYS.
