Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

Head Coach (paid, not a dad, ok guy but not great at coaching/running his team) left the team in winter, before HOCO. There was no notice to anyone, maybe VLC knew, but didn't share. VLC tried to fill his spot with another coach but at this point damage was done. Parents had questions/concerns but VLC management didn't seem to care. By summertime they didn't have enough players for tournaments and had to call in bodies just to play. When tryouts happened they didn't have enough boys show up to even field a bare bones team. VLC had months of notice that this team was going to fall apart and just didn't care or didn't want to be bothered. They let a head coach run the team on their own but the problem is that if a HC doesn't have that skill and management doesn't step in, it will fall apart. I hear that VLC is going to have tryouts for a new 27 team this year. Will be interesting to watch this.

The question would be is who would be the 2027 coach?

I am guessing someone from VLC trying to get kids to their tryouts…

VLC adding a few high level coaches to the younger teams.

After this year, I’d be surprised if King Crab even lets VLC play NLF anymore. The Cavs group will get stomped. Best to stick to the Hersey and Virginia Beach tournies, like they always have.

Dumb post check tourney machine. The teams are fine close games and a few wins but most important is exposure to coaches. Besides why pay for other tournaments when VLC can do NLF events as part of his club.

I have no skin in this game but tell me you don't know Crabs owns VLC with out telling you don't know that Crabs owns VLC.

My prediction for the 27’s is the Hammers Elite boys will move over for better tournaments.

Evergreen has the same challenge as Top Cal does: Most of the NLF teams won't let them into their top tourneys, like Crabfeast. Cause if one of those teams did well, it would disrupt their monopoly.
