Post your DCs names and we'll tell you what we assume about you. Snark is obviously expected!

You believe girls deserve more syllables than boys, but your last name has only one syllable. You get little sleep and worry constantly about whether you invest enough into your 529.

You are first generation Brazilian, from the interior of the country, and follow this site to learn more about living in the United States (and we entertain you). Your husband is American, so you had to settle on names that work in both countries, but you really wanted to name your daughter Ana. She has a middle name like Carolina, Maria or Vitoria, which only you and your family in Brazil use. You live in Montgomery County because of the good public schools.

Well, I almost said Argentina ... in which case I would have guessed Fairfax County! Thanks for playing.

You and your husband are of Haitian descent, having moved here for college. You both attended Georgetown's School of Foregn Service. DH is a diplomat and you work at the World Bank. Your children attended Lycee Rochambeau. Baptiste is still a senior there; Gaspard attended Oberlin, where he was a star soccer player and violinist. He currently works in the Peace Corps. You make your home in Bethesda, but have plans to move to Georgetown or Kalorama once Baptiste is off to college.

Wow, I love it! We both work in the private sector, are not Haitian and did not go to SFS. The soccer part was very close, as was the part about Oberlin (though he went to a different LAC). He did not go into the Peace Corps, though; he's an investment banker.

You tried to stay traditional for Nonna, you really did, but Enzo was not having any of it. A free spirit, he roams the halls at GDS with his shoulder-length hair and draws abstract art pieces that are garnering attention from his teachers (they're recommending that he pursue art school). Your husband has a hard time understanding your son's eccentricity (he's an accountant), but encourages it. You're a bit of a free-spirit yourself; live your truth, sista.

Your family is from the south -- the Carolinas or Georgia, maybe? Tatum just came out at the Cotillian and seems to be looking forward to attending Furman University, where she was just accepted early decision. Savannah is a different story -- she is a bit offbeat, loves to read Nietzche, and dreams of running off to a liberal arts school in the Northeast -- Bard or Vassar, maybe? She thinks the south is boring a too conventional. You and DH just shrug your shoulders and try to give her the space to be her own person (although secretly you just have a much easier time understanding Tatum). Jalen, who is 12, is "all boy". He loves to play baseball on his travel team and ride his bike around the neighborhood. Jalen can be a bit antsy and distracted sometimes. You and DH are thinking ADHD possibly? It may be time to get him tested.
