Stags are 11-4 but only 4 wins all year against opponents with a winning record. And those wins are: SJC: 7-6 OT thriller OLGC: 12-9, DM's best win so far Charlotte Catholic: 10-9 OT win for DM, but CC lost 9-20 to STAB Boiling Springs: 15-4 win for DM, but BS lost 7-19 to Lucy Beckham team that needed OT to beat Potomac Winning the WCAC would be a great feat for DM. Some would even say it's a banner year. |
Your glazing!!!! Conference wins with these rivalries are hard to get |
| Does anyone know who number 5 is on gonzaga? He just single handily lost the game for a gonzaga. such a bum!!! |
| what’s the hype with 42 on gonzaga? he got snapped behind the goal and allowed 2 goals. i heard his dad gives him kisses on the lips in between quarters once he puts down the camera. |
| respect to the gonzaga parents. even though they knew they were gonna lose after the first quarter they still watched their sorry players try and comeback. |
| As much as I hate to admit (GZ alum and parent) I’d have to say DeMatha has the best attack line in the WCAC. #7 who’s going to Gettysburg is sneaky good… Wouldn’t be surprised if DM comes out on top of the WCAC this season, but it seems like they’re due especially with how senior heavy they are. They have talents all over the field and their FOGO’s dominance reminds me of the SJC ‘23 FOGO. |
They really need JM Costa. If they meet again DeMathas defender Landon Mckelvey will bottle him up so it won’t change much |
It's a down year for WCAC and that is reflected in OOC results. Doesn't mean kids can't have fun and enjoy beating rivals. Go Stags! Just admit Landon has more quality wins than every WCAC team combined. Stop talking about hypothetical matchups and look at actual results. |

DeMatha would give landon or Bullis a run for their money this spring.
DeMatha finally has a coach who can actually coach and run a program - not just a club guy. Dave Mitchell, is a club coach, that’s it’s. It’s not that hard to coach club when you consolidate the best players from area privates onto one team, and there is little in gsme strategy or zero scouting. In his 3 years at DeMatha, he didn’t do shit. The new DM coach in one year, has accomplished more than what Dave did in 3 seasons. DM is graduating a big senior class but the Annapolis and Route 50 pipeline is starting to come back. Look for the stags program to remain elevated in the years ahead. |
With that in mind, don’t forget the 4 losses were all by one point and most in OT- so if going to analyze wins, must analyze losses. |
| They did give Bullis a run for their money. Bullis was missing two best players but DM took them to OT |
Baseball? Didn’t St. John’s win the conference something like 17 years in a row? |
| DeMatha lost to Ryken. League is deep. |
