Chief of staff left
Elimination of deputy superintendent position and their office
Chief operating officer left
New acting chief financial officer
New chief of security
Elimination of medical officer and their office
New chief of school support and improvement
Several new associate superintendents and directors in OSSI

Is the elimination of the deputy supe a permanent thing? I was under the impression it was a temporary, cost cutting thing for this school year given that they had the budget gap to close. I wouldn't be surprised to see that position and office reinstated in the 2025-2026 school year.

It would be up to the new superintendent. And next year's budget will be difficult too.

An Engagement Working Committee meeting is scheduled for Sept. Last time Evans presided over that meeting with MS and HS students.

Its not a real job, so its supposed to be a stipend. She will not say what she will actually do but at this point I'll vote for anyone not currently on the Board.
