Arlington Asist Tournament

Arlington did not get ECNL girls because of the 08 girls. It’s looking more and more like that is just a weak age group. At some point you are what your record says you are.

Sorry to break this so you, Mom, but if she was the best 2008 in the area, then she would not be playing for Arlington. And she certainly wouldn’t be playing on their 08 team. There are several 08s playing up and starting for FCV and very good ECNL teams in the area.

On an underperforming team, that type of player still underperforms

I am gonna got out on a limb and say something nice in an echo of what someone said before. The VYS team IS quite good, and they aren't from a glamour club. Congrats.
Now somebody , quick, call me an idiot and accuse me of having a daughter on the team.

You can’t say that since you don’t know the girl. Some kids have the drive regardless of the team. People want to play where they play. Why do you think ECNL expanded so much? Kids would rather stick with their club than go play at an ECNL club.

FCV is not allowing anymore 08's to play up. The only area team that may be better than Arlington is VDA. Richmond is obviously the best in Virginia. She would be a starting midfielder on any 08 team

Hmmm... I'm not her mom and don't even have a player on that team. We played them in the fall and she stood out

Yes our Vienna team playing for champions of top bracket against Loudoun. Go VYS!

Vienna wins Arlington assist! Beats Loudoun. Now they are #3 in Virginia. They play nationals in Colorado this July

That can’t be! They’re not ECNL! Or GA! Or even CCL! You mean to tell us that a lowly NPL team took down the mighty Loudoun and won a group with the mighty Arlington??? Inconceivable!

there are like 8-10 teams in Va better vs Arlington 08’s. Look at their record.
