The only VP of consequence in recent memory is Cheney, and that’s not an example to emulate.

To everyone else, please get the two-shot shingles vaccine

She might have got both but you know it’s not 100% and she is old.

At least take her off the Judiciary Committee, FFS.

If she doesn’t resign they need 60 votes even to temporarily replace her on the Judiciary Committee. They’ll never get them because Republicans are thrilled by the pause in judicial confirmations. She needs to retire.

So if she retired tomorrow, what would happen?

Newsom would appoint her replacement who would be there in days. Kamala Harris resigned on a Monday and her replacement was sworn in on Wednesday.

I know I know. I’ll stop.

This is getting crazy. She needs to do the right thing and retire. Can no one talk any sense into her?

Well, did she ask to step away from the judiciary committee on her own or did one of her handlers do it? Someone (or likely multiple people) have been enabling her for a long time.

Yes but it makes it difficult to talk any sense into her.

If she can stay awake long enough.
