Just talked to my friend. Her kid is doing great at the dorms and with classes at Central Michigan University. I know there was a bunch of hoopla about outbreaks, but he's having a great time and feels safe. He even has an upcoming trip with his class... some sort of camping adventure. |
So you critique someone about a political statement here and then make one of your own... |
| I think SUNY Oneonta just switched to all Online (due to outbreaks) |
|
NU sent another email today where they almost apologized for the tone of their prior email where they stated only JRs and SRs would be welcome on campus with few exceptions.
Still disappointed. Expected better from them. |

Add Colorado College to the list.

These schools called it earlier in the summer. Grinnell announced that it will be fully online in JUly. |
|
...and University of Illinois was touted for being ahead of the game by creating their own in-house saliva testing capability. The conducted testing of all students before coming to campus.
Just goes to show how testing is not a fail safe method of preventing outbreaks and surges. |
| Pandemic is winding down and college age kids with no other health issues will be fine. You guys need to stress about something else. |
So much ignorance in such a few words. Wow. |
| And Biden will win big! |
| Temple is going online |
| Front page of The NY Times reporting over 1000 cases at USC (South Carolina, not Southern CA). Go Cocks! |
^^. BtW— the 1000 cases are currently active. Not cumulative. And USC is Not sending kids home. Instead, they are “strongly encouraging” mask wearing, social distancing and hand washing in response. Way to get tough and really tackle the problem.
