These are the folks who voluntarily eat c__k. There was a poster who said there’s plenty to eat of it if you’re not the “in crowd” so I’m assuming they are “in”.

excusez-moi? please elaborate on exactly how to call an entity who does not deliver a service, retains the money, ALSO gets PPP, AND not one single person gets a pay cut let alone furloughed?

I can’t imagine a parent protecting a club this hard over a non-controversial act like refunds. Loudoun soccer didn’t suffer but many parents and families did.

Sure, they refunded those who were previously in need of a price break but they ignored those, for whom their circumstances changed and they needed the refund, a refund for a service never received.

Lots of clubs refunded their customers. Perhaps if parents posted here what club gave a refund it might give parents an idea of what soccer club they should seek out this fall.

Curious - what clubs refunded? We have kids at Loudoun Soccer and another Loudoun Club, neither refunded.

Have zero connection to LS. No one disagrees with your base argument, but you have gone way, way overboard on DCUM having crossed over into an apparent ongoing and dogged smear campaign against LS. If they got a refund they would stop complaining. I know LS hopes that folks simply eat it and move on with their life but many people simply will not do that. Smear campaign? Awww, too bad.

It really is pretty insane that money isn't being refunded in full considering the service wasn't rendered. that's their risk, not yours. Look closely at the contract. This reminds me of the lacrosse person (clearly a director) who was like "you want these clubs to be around after this" Actually, youth club sports might be at the very bottom of the list of things worth "saving." Any youth sport can pick back up, it's not rocket science. Such a scam

It was said that non-profits can’t qualify for PPP. So have irregularities occurred?
