I loved this season. Even Kamala, who I thought was a walking caricature in the first season, was better. I was only disappointed with the casting of Mohan's mother. Mohan and Devi are dark skinned Indians from South Indian--and they cast Mohan's mother as a light skinned Indian with a bob.

Both Kamala and Mohan's mom don't fit very well. Devi slightly above average looking, and tall pale Kamala looks like she was a contestant for Miss India. Even Devi's mom is taller and paler than one would expect, but she's a very good actress in this role, so I accept her. Kamala overacts.

Same. She's much more of a northern Indian vibe and look.
