If you're wearing a PFD as you are supposed to, they dont need sidescan sonar to find your corpse. It either floats, or you swim to shore and are home in time for (a late) dinner.
Sad. |
I would expect the extensive search was done out of respect for her mother, Kathleen, and in honor of her many years service as Lt. Governor of Maryland. Not simply because Maeve belonged to the Kennedy family. Similar to the extensive search expenses for JFK Jr., out of respect for the service of his parents. |
So sorry! |
Service? Gimme a break! |
What do you mean? Why so angry? JFK Jr.’s parents service as President and First Lady of the USA. You don’t think that is public service? I cannot help you if you take offense at what I wrote. |
| That poor little boy. So glad they found him... |
| Sad story. Hit us pretty hard because we've done similar with the kids. |
Different eras. But yes, I know exactly what you mean. Went through similar with my parents when our kids were younger. |
And Maeve’s mother was the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland for eight years. |
Just so you understand that overtime won’t even be authorized in the search for YOUR missing kid, though. If you’re ok with that, then I guess that works for you. Me, I’m not ok with it. |
Bingo. What they did was basically the boating-equivalent to drunk driving a motorcycle with no helmet, while texting. Would DCUM be so forgiving of someone named “Jenkins” who died doing that? Nah. They’d snugly say “serves them right”. |
| Just a sad tragedy all around. Horrible. |
| In that family picture they show with Maeve in the pink dress, who is the teenager in black on the right? Reports say Maeve only had the 3 younger kids. |
Gone out on canoes without life vests? Or chased down a ball that went into water? |
