| Well, he certainly sounds trustworthy! |
It is true. Pharmacists have reported it and are contacting state boards. Some doctors are going to be in hot water. |

I doubt the naysayer will believe anything, but this is being widely reported by news establishments and pharmacists and pharmacist boards in multiple states:

| I think I'd rather have COVID-19 than take chloroquine again. I took it for malaria prophylaxis in the early 90s and had to stop after 6 weeks. I had terrifying nightmares that were so real that I didn't know I was dreaming and the nightmares got worse the longer I was on it. |
NYPost which has a bias to the right is even reporting it. https://nypost.com/2020/03/24/doctors-hoarding-untested-anti-coronavirus-drugs-for-themselves-report/amp/ |
Trump DID pull it out of his ass. He tries to bluff his way through everything and his gross incompetence in this situation will result in tens of thousands of avoidable deaths. I hope he gets it and dies. Fast. |
| I am someone who needs the medicine but can’t get it right now. I’ve been taking a half dose and hoping it’s available in mid April when my pharmacy said they might get more in. I think it’s unethical that we’re making doctors fight this virus without the right tools. And so I’m not surprised they would justify their own unethical behavior at this time. But if it’s dentists or dermatologists or something, then that’s bad. |
Off label use is not unethical. However doctors writing scripts for the med where it's not indicated is unethical. |

Malaria Drug Chloroquine No Better Than Regular Coronavirus Care, Study Finds
Hydroxychloroquine, a medicine for malaria that President Donald Trump has touted as a treatment for coronavirus, was no more effective than conventional care, a small study found. The report published by the Journal of Zhejiang University in China showed that patients who got the medicine didn’t fight off the new coronavirus more often than those who did not get the medicine. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-25/hydroxychloroquine-no-better-than-regular-covid-19-care-in-study |
By unethical, I mean writing prescriptions so people an have it in hand “in case” they get Coronavirus. |
this. my brother took it in Africa and had a terrifying episode of near-psychosis. |
Let's leave politics out of this |
I dont think OP'S question is dumb at all. You have a point too, and there are nicer ways to bring it up. (Without name calling ) |
Hmmmm let me think it through... nightmares......death nightmares......death nightmares.......death NIGHTMARES ANYTIME!!!!! |
