+1000000000

As a Latina I was not offended.

Every single Latina on my social media thought it was awesome. Anecdotal, sure, but this is some puritanical white woman pearl clutching.

You sound soooooo racist.

Its not racist if its true. People are proud of these two women, how they're at the pinnacle of their careers, and they care more about Puerto Rico than anyone in this current administration.

I thought it was fun and hot! I am a boring 42 year old mom. Loved it (although Jlo could have toned it down a bit).

To the people that are offended for their sexual moves. It's engrained in our soul to move our body this way. I'm a 34 year old woman pregnant and can shake my hips that way on a drop of a dime. My daughter will probably do the same. I love to dance with my husband that way too.
Don't feel sorry for these women this is just how we express ourselves! I do find it empowering and loved their performance!!

My social media is mostly people who liked it. Comments along the lines of "JLo still got it at 50" "Props for representing their cultures" etc. Mostly POC, though.

But you see, according to some here, the super bowl is absolutely not for children. No sirree!

The fact that you think beer commercials, coupled with men hitting each other, is for children is comical. Oh the poor children. Won’t someone think of the children!

The sexual moves weren't their hips. Shakira's tongue, JLo rubbing herself, JLo simulating sex, the pole etc. everyone has seen Shakira shake her hips. She does it in all her videos and every time she performs.

Anyways, the goals of these performances is sex appeal. The majority of the audience is men and they want to give them ass and tits to look at - keeps men there to watch the commercials. They did what they set out to do.
