Can anyone tell me about VDA

Making the ECNL TOP 25 is going to be Mikey’s goal. As a director he will have a lot of say in training, development and tryouts. Changes will be happening at VDA. He’s a strong influence in NOVA and has a faithful following.

New coach, same players. Exactly how do you figure his presence is worth 25 more wins across the club?

Training properly does wonders. Just wait and see.

So Mikey’s training will be radically different from Scott’s? Agree with PP. it’s about talent. Mikey was able to recruit to bryc 2003 hence their success.

His training is very different from Scott's!

That is great, they will be better trained mediocre players.

Who are you to say someone is mediocre? a coach? or a parent that needs to get a life. BTW I am sure some more pieces will be added which happens on every team.

Because I've seen them. There is just not a lot of meat left on the bone. Jose Mourinho couldn't get 10 wins out of that roster.

Adding more pieces isn't "training" it is admitting that what was said regarding the current pieces is correct, they do not have the talent. They can only get better by adding talent.

They have a lot of talent, however I do agree they could use a couple more players to round out the top 11.

And for rising U17, when kids are entering the year that they can finally talk with college coaches and have an established role on their team you think kids are going to leave that situation to join a new team?

The only kids changing clubs at that age are kids/parents unhappy with current playing time. They may be fine players but they are changing clubs because they have nothing to lose by leaving and nothing to gain by staying.

Players that would move are those that will be committed by this August and are following to continue being developed by his training. Who knows right? I guess we all will just have to wait and see...…

How has that training worked for bryc 04s?

They are better... Just need more time. It takes time and Mikey had the 03 for 6 years right? he has been winning since u9 with that group, training matters.

100% wrong --- he's maybe had 6 of those girls on the 03 team for that amount of time.
He's consistently churned that roster 3-4 girls per year over the past few years.

He’s done a fine recruiting job. Accent and attitude go a long way with NOVA soccer parents.

Oh, let them enjoy their moment. You would think MW was Daddy Warbucks the way they are carrying on though.
