Just when I thought DCUM couldn’t get any more absurd. OP, you are not doing your fellow liberals any favors here.

name 3 examples of a republican policy that helped people and didn't just help a few and screw the rest

You must be joking.

1) Deregulation and corporate tax reform to get the economy growing at 3% and delivering more and better jobs for everyone in the private sector (like, what, 100 million people?)

2) Getting rid of the crazy "Dear Colleague" regulations concerning rape in college campuses that stole the presumption of innocence and essential safeguards from over a million students...because they were male.

3) New laws favoring generic drugs to lower drug prices

You can also argue than a stronger military and the "new NAFTA" are going to help many people.

And the list continues.

LOL. Yes, let’s help the rapey frat bros. They really need help.

I see you have learned from Goebbels how to label, scapegoat, dehumanize and defame others.

I can't believe the PPs that think men need MORE protection after years and years and years of women not being taken seriously when they have tried to report rape, assault and harassment.

Finally calling men to the carpet for bad behavior is not labeling, not scapegoating, not dehumanizing, and not defaming. It's called justice.

I suspect the men who are so up in arms about recent events have reason to be scared. Times up scumbags.

Let us know how you feel about that when your husband, son, brother, father, or friend is falsely accused and no one is interested in hearing his side of the story. Look, it's clear you hate all men and want to see them burn in hell whether or not they committed any crime, but thankfully, civilized society is onto nutcases like you. Due process will be afforded to ALL. Sorry to disappoint you and your fever dream of revenge.

Not the PP. I'm sure those UVA "frat bros" didn't appreciate being FALSELY smeared as gang rapists. Hope that never happens to anyone you love.

Brock says, don’t worry dudes.

What % of frat bros are falsely accused?
What % of frat bros are never properly prosecuted and sentenced for their sexual assaults?

What % of false accusers are ever punished for what they did to ruin someone's life? I see the UVA accuser, Jackie, is doing just fine these days. No repercussions for her. Such a nice person, too.

Nope, sorry. But I am a mom to both boys and girls and appreciate knowing that all of them would be afforded due process if accused of any crime. I'm not fond of people who jump to the conclusion that someone is guilty without knowing all of the facts and without any corroborating details. Kind of reminds me something...

My post is sincere. I think the modern GOP is basically evil so I am having a hard time understanding how someone can still be a Republican if they are a decent person.

Yup.

I bet you a drink this person is totally brainwashed by rightwing media. They probably listen to Fox or rightwing radio and therefore have Idea what is true or how the world works. They genuinely think Muslims are getting smuggled in the caravan and a $10k middle class tax cut is gonna happen any minute now. They think turnp is a saint and Hilllary killed people.

What a poor, pathetic dupe.

You all sound like dolts.

^^^ Now THIS is trolling. What sane person thinks like this?

I do. For the first time in my 68 year life, I do. I shy away from anyone who is a Republican in this last years andfreeze put anyone who I know who remains a Republican. And I do not hire trump supporters in my company at all - or Nazis or KKK members or NRA members.

I simply don’t want to know them anymore as they have nothing but bigotry and cruelty.

Um, yeah - just a thought: Unless you're asking people their political preferences, which I do believe is illegal as an interviewer, you have zero idea how applicants to your company vote. So please, stop the hyperventilating and hyperbole.

Also - lumping "Nazis, KKK members, and NRA members" in with mainstream Republicans and/or Trump supporters just makes you look incredibly stupid.

I never thought I'd be telling a 68 yr. old to grow up, but please - grow up.

Actually most people have their political leanings on social media. Memes they share make it easy to pick out.

This is amazing.

You truly are Goebbels reborn, and have no idea about what you are doing.

Nope. Due process has always been there for men and should be. Innocent until proven guilty. How do they need more than that? The real problem is that women don’t get their day in court. They don’t get close to justice.

Ford got her day in court, and was a disgrace for all men and women in this country.

Strong processes is what helps women and men get justice. If justice is what you want, stop supporting bad jokes and bad processes.

That wasn’t a day in court, you moron. It was a Senate Judiciary committee hearing. He was not on trial. He was a job applicant.

The process is already there. The point is men had protections forever. We need more protection for women.

Spoken by a single guy who can’t figure out w-w-why women reject him.

And are ready to have their miscarriages investigated?

And are ok forcing women to carry dead fetuses around inside of them, possibly causing danger to other gestating fetuses and/or the mother?

What on EARTH are you blabbering about? I'm pro-choice and you just sound insane. Stop the hyperbole and gaslighting. You're making yourselves look incredibly ignorant and idiotic.

Nope, because this is what happens when abortion is illegal. Babies will be born with severe medical conditions that likely would have been aborted before. Miscarriages are investigated as possible abortions. And since the procedure is illegal, women are forced to carry deceased fetuses until their body expels them, which can lead to all kinds of medical problems and possible death for the mother.

None of this is gaslighting. These are very real problems in places that outlaw abortion.

Sounds “death panel”-y to me

You ask Science -- ever heard of her?

"According to studies between 2003 and 2005, 20 to 35 percent of babies born at 23 weeks of gestation survive, while 50 to 70 percent of babies born at 24 to 25 weeks, and more than 90 percent born at 26 to 27 weeks, survive."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetal_viability

A good recent article:
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/01/pro-life-pro-science/549308/

"Scientific progress is remaking the debate around abortion. When the U.S. Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade, the case that led the way to legal abortion, it pegged most fetuses’ chance of viable life outside the womb at 28 weeks; after that point, it ruled, states could reasonably restrict women’s access to the procedure. Now, with new medical techniques, doctors are debating whether that threshold should be closer to 22 weeks. Like McGuire, today’s prospective moms and dads can learn more about their baby earlier into a pregnancy than their parents or grandparents. And like McGuire, when they see their fetus on an ultrasound, they may see humanizing qualities like smiles or claps, even if most scientists see random muscle movements."

What is “death panel”-y is to send viable babies to execution no-questions-asked.

Who is footing the bill for all those procedures to keep premature babies "viable?" And then the care that is almost always present after they make it out of the hospital? And by care I mean the financial support and emotional care these babies need? I know several kids who were born VERY prematurely, some have lifelong disabilities and for the one or two that do not, that first year of life was no walk in the park.

If society isn't going to pony up to provide the support and care for these babies -any babies, actually- and their parents, you can just STFU about what is humane, kind, or in support of life. And equally STFU about what you are asking other people to take on in life while you just get to sit by in judgment.

My DD is 100% more likely to be paid less, sexually harassed, and treated differently by society.
My DD is far more likely to be assaulted, groped, or raped, than your son is to be falsely accused.

I knew 1000 Kavanaughs in college and law school. He did it. You know he did it (prior PP). You have the ability to say "we don't know all the facts" because all the facts were not investigated.
