Ford can’t remember the year the incident happened, she can’t remember how she got to the house party, or how she got home. She told no one about it at the time and the issue came to the forefront during a couples therapy session six years ago. Her therapist’s notes never mention Kavanaugh and actually mention four boys involved, although she says there were only two.

She says the incident occurred during the summer so you think she would be able to determine the year by her age at the time or by recalling if it was the summer after freshman year, Sophomore year, etc. It should not be so hard for her to determine or recall the year. He could have been out of the country the summer in question, etc. She doesn’t seem to want to be tied down by the details of her story.

If I’m born Jan through May, it’s the summer right after I turned 15, if I’m born Sept. through December, it’s the summer right before I turned 16.
Even if you’re born in the summer, it’s either the summer you turned 15 or the summer you turned 16.

Let me just ask.... if it is discovered, somehow, that Ford is making a false claim, should she be prosecuted?

Seems the UVA accuser was never even outed or punished in any way for making her horrific false claims. I have no idea if Ford's claim is true or not, but if not - what will be the consequences?

PP here. I actually think they're trying to come up with a way to avoid accusing Dr. Ford of being a liar, since they know that won't go over well. So instead, they're going to claim that she's mistaken/confused.

Considering she asked for an FBI investigation - if she gets one and is proven to be lying, she is committing a felony. This isn't that hard to figure out, and I doubt you'll find many people willing to be political operatives where this is the price. If this is a Dem conspiracy, why just one accuser? Everyone knows more = more believable.

There are so many memos that haven’t been shared in the process. The committee needs to be able to access and read so much more. The 1998 memo is very disturbing. The type of questions he recommends asking in the Clinton-Lewinsky matter are quite abnormal and perhaps even a bit deviant.
