+2 I'm surprised this case didn't get more national press.

Seriously? You're surprised? Three gay men rape and kill a guy and you wonder why the press covered it (with a pillow)?

New poster. I'm surprised. Please explain why it was hushed up.

As much as people wanted there to be a conspiracy theory with Vince Foster, there isn't one.

The press LOVE to sensationalize gay crimes so I'm not sure why this one was hushed up either. Maybe because all the guys involved were white and at least two were powerful lawyers?

This is the one I want to know about. I lived in Charlotte at the time and was also connected to Kyle through a friend group. It was definitely one of those things where it could have easily happened to anyone. From what we could tell, he acted like a completely normal 20 something going out in downtown Charlotte at the time.

Yeah this one really chills me. I wonder if we know each other?

The only reason this gives anyone chills is because it was a man. This happens everyday for women and girls. The only time a disappearance like that has lasting power for a woman is when its 'exotic'. Like Natalee Ann Holloway.

Why do people keep saying this? It’s obvious that the janitor killed her.

Because they never found her body.

And because of that people like me fear that she was sold off to some pervert and either was tortured until she died or she is currently still alive and has been working in the sex trade for all these years. I want to know the truth because I believe her mother should be prosecuted for negligence if not for possibly selling her daughter to the janitor.

Was her mother held responsible to any extent?

No, and if you see her now she holds out like she was somehow victimized by the whole ordeal rather than being the woman who neglected her child and possibly sold her off.

It got press. I remember when he was murdered and followed the case through the trials. There was an excellent blog covering it all. I have family in law enforcement they said some of the most gruesome crimes were committed by gay men. I have always wondered if there is some kind of profile. Any way, the lawyer from Arnet Fox is now in FL I think. They’ve on gone on with their lives. It’s really sad because it is very clear they murdered him.

The WaPo covered this murder extensively. I'm not sure why you say it was hushed up?

Yes, I feel horrible for his wife who will never live to see justice for her murdered husband. So very, very sad

Any long time residents who remember a teen girl being stabbed and killed with an ice pick in Montgomery County, must have been in the '60's. I don't believe that was ever solved. And I'm sorry I don't remember about the other young teen who was murdered behind Wheaton Plaza before the abduction of the Lyons' sisters.

Yes but at least one of the lovers FOLLOWED HIM TO FLORIDA. It's insane that they just got on with their lives after killing someone.

My very Republican DH used to always claim Vince Foster was murdered. Two of his friends, however, worked for Ken Starr on the Whitewater investigation. He told them his theory, and they smiled and said that Vince Foster was clearly not murdered. My DH was disappointed.
