Maybe if we stop engaging with him, he'll go away. Fingers crossed.

+2. Although UChicago still has a great reputation among conservative economists at least. Chicago-hating PP is an idiot.

Plus Princeton for economics? Great school all around, but Columbia tops Princeton for Economics. That is all, besides repeating that the CalTech booster is nuts.

Left out Berkeley and Yale for the top Economics program. Chicago is ranked 7th.

Best Graduate Economics Programs

#1 Tie Harvard University  Cambridge, MA 5.0
#1 Tie Massachusetts Institute of Technology Cambridge, MA 5.0
#1 Tie Princeton University Princeton, NJ 5.0

This poster is looking at graduate school rankings although the conversation is about college rankings. Mixing apples and oranges.

Here’s on that ranks departments based on pubs in top journals. 2012-16 has UChicago second to Harvard. Rankings are international — LSE is #5.

While I greatly appreciate the effort you guys are putting in, why are we even humoring the nutty pp with her self-serving, creative definitions of what a "top" school should be? I mean, I'm sorry she's disappointed that USNWR put CalTech 12th. But she doesn't get to redefine "top university" in her own self-serving way, and playing along with her creative redefinitions is giving them more time and space than they deserve.

Also, the hate for UChicago and Columbia, wtf?
