This is probably the lamest excuse I have read yet.
I think the example set by Tashfeen Malik kind of blows your “theory.” The business of killing is not gender-specific.

No really the business of killing is led almost entirely by men. Tashfeen is an exception and there are others. Just watch the evening news. Heck look at Syria. The women sure as heck aren't going around shooting people. Same with World War One, two , Vietnam etc. women simply don't kill people like men do.

They will measure up or they will die--just like the men.

Equality is not always everything it is cracked up to be.

Says you? I don't agree that equality is not always everything it is cracked up to be. Those words can only be spoken by someone who doesn't have to worry about being equal. I do think women should register for the draft. I do know that we haven't had a draft since the 1970's. I do know that there have been enough people to cover the demand for military personnel so it's likely that no one will be drafted - neither men nor women. I do find the attitude toward woman in this thread really sad. There is a lot of anger and resentment toward women. Just starting the thread was a provocative gesture and could be construed as a desire to incite fear and anger.

If women want equality they have to stop taking every opportunity to claim victim hood.

Bullets on the battle field don't discriminate nor do I.E.D's.

Are you suggesting that people who want equality want things to be easy?

No, I am suggesting they are delusional because somehow they believe that bullets fired by the enemy's guns will care about political correctness.

If you women want what men get you will be drafted. You can't pick and choose. It's either all or nothing.

Be careful what you screech for.

I am not sure women are delusional. Obama is though. Speak up for military effectiveness and sane selective service.

I dont think very many women are screeching. I am a woman who thinks this is a bad idea. Seems entirely the Presidents. He is a man.

Aren't the posters in this forum embarrassed to be posting such juvenile drivel? Did any of you, on either side, ever go to school? If so, why did you never learn how to carry on an intelligent conversation?

Did you ever stop to think that maybe this is because women weren’t allowed in combat? Duh.

As someone who doesn't believe that woman or girls should be educated let alone work. I would go bat shit crazy if this happened.

If there have been enough people to cover the demand, why has the US resorted to stop-loss policies over the years?

Has there been a draft since the Vietnam war? No. That was 40 years ago. So there have been enough people to cover demand.

^^^When you sign a contract you sign a contract. I guess military employees are subject to the same contractual laws as the rest of us.

This was an add-on to response about military stop-loss.
