My 3 yr old is still on 2 bottles and I think it's just us since he is low weight we are afraid.

Lady, you are not alone and I don't even keep it a secret.

Huh. I weaned just after 2 years old for my own reasons, but have no problem with "child-led-weaning" and understand that the typical/historical age of full and child-led weaning (although the last years are usually down to 1-2 nursings/day) is like 2.5-6 years old. So even though my kid never really took bottles or pacifiers or whatever, I wouldn't judge kids-- even into early elementary school-- if they still had a bottle or two or needed a pacifier at night. Seems natural. Sad that people are shamed over this-- or "extended" breastfeeding, for that matter.

Eventually
I know a family like this... they all played musical beds every night, apparently, like a bunch of damn house cats sleeping all over the place. Everyone is now grown, out of the house, and seems reasonably well adjusted. So in the grand scheme of things, if you are okay with it (sleeping okay and such) then I say just let it take it's course.

I love this!! Our family is exactly like a bunch of damn house cats at night.

this is our family too. I call it musical beds. My mom calls it a circus. It is actually somewhat exhausting. But it just happens and in the middle of the night I am too tired to make a big fuss about it.

I still peek at her when she's sleeping sometimes. I miss my baby! Now she's big enough that she's wearing my shoes.

Let me clarify: She IS smart. She was in GT, Honors, and AP classes. But she's not scholarly or driven. People like her a lot and she's chosen a career field where being charming is an asset so she'll get by.

This is your secret? Huh, you are praising your child.

It's a humble brag.

Yes, there is an Amy Schumer skit about people like you, pp. You would be 'Bridget' in her stand-up routine. You should look it up. Prefer dang funny. And from the sounds of it, you could use a good laugh.
