Agreed. And most of these dumbasses didn't even know it was AA Family Day. All this hysteria over shit they don't even know anything about. |
The shooting was not at the zoo. |
Oh right I forgot Ward and June Cleaver just love them some colored folk culture and would be first in line to spend the day frolicking with all the Negroes if it weren't for the potential threat of violence. STFU you embarrassing your damn self with that sad rationale. |
Pretty much. |
Unlike DC and Easter Monday, Detroit has actually controlled and reduced the number of arsons on Devil's Night. While still an issue, it's not nearly as bad as it was in the 80s and 90s. |
Stop acting stupid. "What community?" Another example of folks not taking responsibility for their actions. "Devil's Night" Fires Doused In Detroit http://www.cbsnews.com/news/devils-night-fires-doused-in-detroit/

WTF does any of this have to do with the National Zoo? You sound like a moron. [ Edited to comply with copyright laws. ] |
Well, for instance, before cancel lim an event that has been held for more than 100 years you might want to confirm that the shooting was connected to the event. Right now, we don't' know the shooter, the motive, or other important facts. |
Except this is a sponsored event, held on federal property by an institution that receives federal funding. |
The people involved in the shooting were in Woodley Park for the purpose of attending Easter Monday at the zoo. You can go back and forth about this all you want. Anyone who lives in WP can tell you that there is almost no reason for teens who don't live in the neighborhood to hang out across the street from the zoo, unless they're planning to enter or already leaving the zoo! Good grief, people. |
Of course. But it was just across from the zoo's main entrance, and press reports say it occurred in a crowd of people who had just been evicted from the zoo by police. |
And if we're with comparing DC to the city of Detroit, then we may as well hang it up. |
Probably because no one in the crowd wants to snitch to the policie. |
STFEOTP |
Not true. Perhaps they were targeting someone else who they know was at the zoo. Being in the vicinity of the zoo, doesn't mean you are planning to enter/leave the zoo. |
