Oh, just a clumsy thug. Well, that makes me feel better. |
And he shot himself with a frozen yo? |
I was just driving up Rock Creek when I noticed all the park police zooming past me. I figured there was an accident ahead. By the time I got near Calvert, I heard the helicopters and then knew it wasn't an accident, but had to be a shooting at the zoo. Sure enough, it was.
I love this city, and I hate this nonsense. |
No froYo just gives you watery diarrhea. This sounds more serious |
This needs to be the last such event for a while. There have been multiple shootings at this event in the past 14 years. Time to end the "nonsense." |
If you cancel the event I promise you there will be people on this site and in the city that will claim racism. |
Who gives a f*. It should be shelved and re-vamped. Being against violent thuggery is not racism. |
And this is the problem we have here in our fair city! |
gang related most likely |
One city! |
Time for leaders in the AA community to step up and clean this growing mess. Where are they? |
And time for the Smithsonian National Zoo and DCPS to put on their big boy pants and suspend the event for at least a few years. |
I think this may be the real problem in DC - there AREN't any AA leaders anymore. |
i think Mayor-for-life Barry still claims this mantle. He'll no doubt blame the shooting on too little government spending in Ward 8. |
It was horrible waiting for my bus in Woodley Park this evening with police officers holding assault rifles standing very nearby. I'm AA and grew up with the Easter Monday family day at the zoo tradition and I must say for the next few years cancel this event. I noticed far too many teenagers at Woodley Metro getting thrilled at the sight and sounds of the police and EMS speeding down the street. What a sad sight. |
