S/O What is the most "out there" name you've heard on a child recently?

This is the biggest urban legend out there. It's always posted on threads like this.

I actually knew a mom who named her DD La-a. Maybe she liked the urban legend. People are weird.

I think I have to give it to Bear Blu. (Alicia Silverstone's child....spotted it on a link in an earlier post)

Though Sargeant Fury is actually just as "out there."

I heard a mom call out to her son Baker on the playground this week. Initially I thought, "Did I hear that right?" And yep, I did. Never heard of a boy with a first name Baker.

Seven is the number of drinks Becks had to drink before he could screw Posh.

friends of mine had a daughter when they were quite young and named her after their favorite beer. They thought it was great the time but now they hate it as their ten yr old daughter is always asked by adults - like the beer? Embarrassing for the parents! they have tried to get her to go by a nickname but she likes her name.

My friend had a student named Clitoria.

Calliou. I know it's a TV show but I've never heard of a real person with this name until recently.

Prometheus. Love it; wish we were going to have another one so I could use that name too! May have to settle for calling our next dog Prometheus...

Elmoo. Similar to Elmo + the sound a cow makes. Frightening.

I know a guy who previously worked for the Welfare Dept. He had some doozies but I remember one he talked about a lot because the littlest kid was named Crayon.

I've know an Elman, but Elmoo? Wow.

Griffon--or Griffin? the name evokes a short twisted homunculus. Cute nice kid IRL--but parents are, insensitive and aloof show offs. Mother says insentive things about race , religion, politics, etc., all the time, just completely clueless. I especially hate when someone says something racially insensitive or ignorant about racial relations to me an then assumes I would agree with them . No, I think you are rude, you exclude people from things and you think you are better than others and you named your son after a mythical twisted short dragon bird. You're tying too hard.

Griffin is one of those last-names-as-first-names-that-begin-with-N that have become really popular lately - like Logan. Gryphon is the dragon bird thing.
