Good God I hope this is satire. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Ok I must’ve mistaken her for someone else. Disregard please.

Your comment was terrible on so many levels. I don’t even know where to start.

anywhere please. i genuinely would like to know why it was 'terrible' and 'on so many levels' when i confused her with another actress of Indian descent in the ER or similar hospital show. so please do share. thank you.

They look nothing alike. But you knew that.

I will say there have always been people who successfully lose weight after years of being overweight. Before GLP1s. There are a lot more doing it on a GLP1 but there ARE some people out there who are not. Two years ago I lost 40 pounds without a GLP1. It was actually my intended "last ditch effort" before trying a GLP1. And I was motivated. But then I slowly started gaining it back. Now I am on a GLP1 and it is not working for me. Hoping it will at higher doses. Plan to stay on it forever if it ever starts working. I don't really want to discuss it with all of the judgy people but I know people probably thought I was on one before and they will think it again. Whatever. I have NEVER liked discussing my weight loss (been through this rodeo several times via several methods) and I never will. Why can't people just be happy for others and mind their own.

Parminder Nagra, who speaks in an English accent (another distinguishing point).

Why and how is she even still famous? She's so obnoxious and unfunny. A bit part of The Office 20 years ago. Who cares about this revolting woman in 2026?

You must not have heard of Running Point, Never Have I Ever, etc etc

Plus Mindy project which ran for six seasons, secret life of college girls, and she’s got a new one premiering this fall. There are few producers and show runners, if any?, that have had this kind of success.

Can you name another show runner/producer whose physical appearance we discuss? How many of them are famous in the first place?

Exactly. Why are we discussing this poor women’s appearance? She’s not even an actress. She’s mostly behind the scenes. Let’s leave her alone.

I’m PP and have been giving both “sides” a hard time. If Mindy wants to stay behind the camera or focus on appearance-things when out publicly, good, let’s leave her alone. But if she’s out talking about her appearance, then yes, people are going to talk about her appearance.

1) Do you have a concept of time?
2) Parminder Nagra and Mindy Kaling don't even remotely look alike
3) Parmider Nagra was on ER from 2003-2009
4) Mindy Kaling was on the Office from 2005-2013
(no, there were no ER/Office crossovers)
5) Parminder Nagra is British
6) Mindy Kaling is American

I'm sorry you think all brown people lookalike, even ones from different countries. Try harder.

+1 DP. They look nothing alike except they are brown. Do better, pp with brown blindness.

I'm Indian and I love her. Her shows are wonderful and diverse, funny and interesting. I don't know why she should be chastised for being on a GLP-1 more than any other celebrity.

She not on a GLP-1. She just walks a lot, duh.

Exactly. Maybe the rest of Hollywood is on them but no way for Mindy. She's started hiking a few times a week.

I’m not following you. Surely you are not following Parminder’s career after ER? And Mindy got smaller, not bigger. Who is the third Indian you’ve now confused?

Amy Schumer. Rebel Wilson. And maybe to a lesser extent Whitney Cummings.

She actually never walked before GLPs came out. I heard her legs didn’t even work back then.

It's the newest diet craze. Slow hiking and not worrying about what you eat. Try it, you will have the same results.
